... Will give a shout out to FP for giving us something different. ... ... I guess at least one manufacturer is listening when we said we wanted something different... ... if these lines do well, then maybe we'll see more different things ... Given the collections released under new ownership, it appears this is now the Fancy Pants aesthetic ( website).

Given the collections released under new ownership, it appears this is now the Fancy Pants aesthetic ( website). I find myself pulled in by the colors in a lot of their collections. I always love a collection that gives me a punch of color. Apothecary & Fruitcake & Tinsel especially grabbed my eye, and I like that with the b-sides of Fruitcake & Tinsel, they are good to use with anything as there's nothing holiday about them. And while I don't have any screaming need for a molded jello embellishment, it cracks me up all the same.

what are your thoughts on North Pole Express? If somebody is looking for something unique there you go. Not my style, I am not into the victorian look. I saw on the sticker sheet they have "Santa Clause', with e on the end of Claus.

I saw on the sticker sheet they have "Santa Clause', with e on the end of Claus. And it's like that everywhere---in 2 embellishment packs as well as on the 12x12 with the letter from Santa. You can cut off the "e" on the stickers, but no such luck with the paper. It seems like the spelling errors are really plaguing them.

The train elements are my favorite part of the North Pole Express line. Otherwise it doesn't do much for me. But trains are a big part of Christmas for us, so I like the idea of grabbing some of the items with the trains on them---especially since they are not cutesy kiddie type trains.

The green on the reverse of the holly berries paper actually looks like quite usable, but overall this line is too dark and traditional to appeal to me.

I'm going to save a lot of money this year. None of the Christmas lines appeal to me.

I like the train elements but I don’t particularly like the Christmasy part of it. Lol.

Anyone else feel like these were made by poorly prompted AI? 😂 ... Yes, especially given the misspellings!

I love this hobby and I try to purchase products from a lot of different companies, but these collections are a hard no from me. The icons are not cohesive in each collection (a slug? really?) and the collections don't look like they were designed by a professional. I truly hope Fancy Pants finds an audience who appreciates this aesthetic, but I won't be purchasing these collections.
ETA: fix typo

These collections are certainly different. This is also a marked change from some of their previous collections only a few years ago. It’s not my vibe, so they will be a pass for me.

Thanks for your responses. While I liked the original Fancy Pants (& the few collections released during its Foundations Decor era), I do not gravitate toward its current aesthetic under new ownership. Nothing is added to my wish list.

A few years ago FP had a line called Wishmas. I found out about it way after the release and thought "hey' that's cute, I could use that." Yeah, either they only released about 5 kits total or it was super popular because I can not find even a scrap of any of it anywhere. I "wish" they would go back to that style...

That happened to me recently with a Park Lane paper pad at Joann's. It was called "Old World" and I found it too late. It was sold out on Joann and I immediately went searching Ebay, Etsy, Google, and nothing. It always shocks me when I can't find something like that because I've just reached a point where I assume that once supplies hit clearance prices resellers will be grabbing them. But if any resellers grabbed Old World, either they sold them immediately, or they haven't listed them yet for some reason. But I keep looking. I did see the Wishmas ephemera cardstock die-cuts available a few places, but yeah, I could not find a single paper pad anywhere. Best of luck--maybe it will turn up one day, and my Old World, too.

... I don't understand how you would scrapbook with Everly, those aren't patterned papers those are cut aparts... Perhaps the hope was to create a versatile collection that appeals to/works for crafters of all sizes (12x12, 6x8, pocket pages, TN, art/junk journals, etc.)?
