I would suggest the Oasis if you can. It is leaps and bounds better than the Paperwhite I have a Paperwhite. Can you tell me what makes the Oasis much better? I’ve put a lot of miles on that thing. Sadly Amazon has discontinued the Oasis.

I've never actually seen any items that were deeply discounted. If you put the items in your cart and then put them to "save for later" the prices will usually drop. If you leave them in your cart, they won't drop the prices because they figure you will buy it. Items that were discounted for prime days, would go that low again as long as they were saved. It isn't hard to figure out their algorithm.

My daughter wants to find a Kindle. I don’t really have anything I “need” but I wouldn’t mind some casual summer clothes (I have lots of summer dresses to wear to work but not a lot of casual stuff for after work or weekends). Maybe an outdoor tent to sit under during my kids sporting events on hot days if I could find one with a good discount!

I prefer a dedicated reader over a tablet, and now if I want anything bigger than a Paperwhite, it's the Scribe, which is pretty large. I really like the size of the Oasis, but mine is over 4 years old and gets a ton of use. I also have no need whatsoever for the writing function, so it just adds to the cost and then to the question of how reliable it will be with the new tech.

I would like to get outside the ear or "open" earbuds. All of the less expensive ones have bad reviews. And the expensive ones are just a little too spendy for me. I’ve thought about looking for a pair with Prime Days as well. I don’t want to put a lot into them because I’m not at all sure I will like them. I’ll let you know if I see a deal - keep me in mind if you do as well! So, Amazon has the 2nd generation Apple AirPods for $69 right now. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on those.

I have them in white, bought them for myself at Christmas last year and they are still the same price. Great fit, great quality, long battery life. (I don't know how to put a link here.) I've tried so many at different price levels. These have been my best by far! If you try them & don't like them, easy return!

I'm thinking of replacing my Kindle.
I looked up the trade in value and I'd get a whole $5 for it. I bought it in 2014 and now I only use it when I'm out, like getting my hair done because of it's small size but it seems to be a bit too small now, font wise, so when I switch to the larger font size, there isn't a whole lot to read on that page, lol. I've been reading off my iPad when I'm home or travel.
So I'm looking for a replacement and if there's one on sale for prime day, I may get it.

Hopefully it will have buttons. That is the single most important feature to me.

My Fitbit needs to be replaced, so I am hoping Amazon or a competitor will run a deal. I’m open to a Garmin or an Apple Watch. I’ve worn a Fitbit faithfully for several years, so I am a bit leery of jumping to a new system. Jump to something else. Google now owns Fitbit and they’re basically dumping it. I’m looking for a new one to move to after mine dies. I’ve been looking at Oura too but it requires a subscription to be really useful.

I hate the idea of having to switch. My son also uses one snd will need a new one soon.

They’ve been jacking up the app and making it more and more not user friendly and not easy to read data IMO. Google has their own version that they want people to migrate to. Nope. I’ll find a different company. I have heard good things about the Amazon brand but don’t know about the app.

Maybe not for his Birthday, but on Black Friday check Gamestop, Walmart and Best Buy, they often have sales on bundles. All I can say is it is worth every penny, fine system. Really enjoy mine and use it as often as possible.

I got a great deal on a hooded down jacket. $150 less than another color in same jacket.

I’m not quite ready to cut loose with Apple Watch level cash. I’ll likely go back to my stainless diving watch without all the tech stuff on it.

I bought this same walking pad in April and it works well. I do wish I would have gotten one that can incline and also that has side rails. I have double knees and a hip replacement so I have balance issues and a slight incline feels better on the gym treadmill. It is easy to move around and I position it next to our bar so I can grab hold if I need to. If you lived near me I'd sell it to you and get a different one for myself with the extra features.

I am watching for a Kindle Paperwhite or Paperwhite Signature. I bought one not long ago, but had to return it because it wouldn't charge/froze. By the time I returned it, Prime Days had been announced, so I took Amazon credit and decided to wait, but I'm a little nervous because they haven't been included in any of the pre-Prime Day sales. I would think amazon would have kindles on sale for prime! I am looking for college items for my son's dorm. Check Woot.com they have college dorm stuff right now. They’re running Prime specials this week too since they are an offshoot of Amazon.

is there an app that will tell you when something you want is on lightening deal, or do you just have to go to amazon and check?

I never heard of a walking pad. I have a heavy duty treadmill in the garage but in the summer it's usually too hot to use. I just Googled walking pad and now I want one! But man, there are so many to choose from.
Any recommendations of good brands versus stay-away-from brands?

Im not looking for much. Maybe a new Alexa since the one I have is a few years old. Though I am not even sure what the best one is right now. Depends on what you are using it for and how picky. I actually really like my current dot. It isn't the flat puck one of the past, but the sphere. It's got decent sound and is smallish and isn't expensive. The pop is okay too, but I can't get it to play with the ofhers
