Happy Sunday, everyone. I spent all day yesterday at the scrapbook store … met a friend there at noon for a six-hour class, and then we were invited to stay after the class ended as it was an open crop day, anyway. We went out for Mexican food in the afternoon, and it was delish, as always.
Today I’ve been eating junk food all day, so I’m planning to make a sheet pan of veggies for dinner. Like the other NorCal girls, I can say it’s finally cooled down a bit here, and I can use the oven tonight.

My youngest great niece was baptized today. Her older sister and two cousins were a hoot, trying to get into the baptism font and play with the running water. So the Deacon let them help bless the water. He did a great job with all three of them. I came home and I hung out at my mom‘s couple hours with my two great nephews and their parents who are here from Florida. We probably spent an hour in the pool before the thunder and rain came. We need a nice cool day here with a steady rain.

I remember back in the day being able to spend my day at a LSS cropping with friends. I miss those days. That's how I met lucyg in person. She invited me to a day-crop at an LSS in a nearby town so I stopped by to say hi ~ since I had DS in tow I couldn't scrap but it was fun meeting people, especially Lucy.  |

cadoodlebug and lucyg I met some of the old 2peas PIXIES at Stampers Warehouse many years ago. It was fun and we had lunch together. I recognized another 2peas from their avatar pix at Monterey Bay Aquarium of all places. Fond memories. I miss the old scrapbook stores and classes.
