It was on a recent thread and I thought “I’ll remember that and make sure my next purchase is that type” and then promptly forgot… which type of decorative dots should I be buying so that they don’t discolour even if they are in sunlight… is it enamel?

As far as I know enamel dots are fine, you want to avoid epoxy, unless you want everything to eventually have that lovely yellow tinge you'd find on photos from the 70's.

Chinagirl828 seeing as I’m still scarred from my yellow and brown primary uniforms and yellow and brown themed house (thanks 80s!) I think I’ll steer clear of the epoxy. Thank you!

My enamel dots have held up well so far.
Epoxy is from the devil. I hate it so much and they are still making products with it. Why? Why? It makes no sense, unless you are using it for cards. And some people keep cards forever, too, so that doesn't make any sense either.
Flair and vellum tape are on my angry list, too. I don't need things to be archival but they should at least last 20 years.

Yes, I remember making this cute bath time layout with clear epoxy circles to mimic bubbles, and now all my lovely bubbles are yellow. Ewww.
