I've never worn a lot of foundation. I did used to wear concealer under my eyes and a decent amount of eye makeup when leaving the house. With more lines, the concealer makes me look a lot older than just putting nothing but eye cream under my eyes.
Now I use an eyebrow pencil to fill in just a few bare spots, mascara - maybe a little eye shadow if we are doing something special, a tinted primer, blush and either lipstick or tinted lip balm. Sometimes I wear regular foundation but it is getting rarer.
If staying home, moisturizer and sunscreen only.

I’m a red head, so my eyelashes and eyebrows are quite pale. If I’m home, I don’t wear makeup. If I leave the house, I’ll wear mascara, eye liner, and use a brow pencil. If I wear foundation, eye shadow, and blush, you know it’s a big fancy event.

I wear mascara half the time if I'm going out of the house. A tinted lip balm.
I used to wear a swipe of blush because I'm so white, but now I'm hot flashing and my cheeks have a bit of red to them all the time. I've always had a hard time with foundation, it matches my face but not my neck and chest. Eyeshadow makes my eczema flare up.

Anytime I'm going anywhere where I care what people think, I do. That's at work, events, the doctor's office, family reunions, etc.
If I'm just going to the store or whatever, no, I don't bother.
I'm very pale and don't look cute without makeup. I look tired and washed out and I tend to get ignored or people will try to push past you in the store, etc. I feel like I'm underestimated without my face. It's a different experience when i have my face on, hair done, dressed nicely. On the other hand, no makeup makes me totally blend in and anonymous, which can be nice.

I voted other. I don't work outside the home but I do wear make up almost every day. There are some days I don't though if I know I'm not leaving the house and no one is coming over. I also don't wear it if we're swimming or going to the beach. As I have gotten older, I have really cut down on the amount of makeup though. Nowhere near as much as I used to and much lighter coverage.

Prior to Covid, I wore a full face of makeup daily. Since Covid, if I'm not leaving the house it's no makeup. I work from home 95% of the time. If I do need to go somewhere now it's just mascara, brows and lip gloss. If I'm going to a party, it's foundations, brows, eyeshadow and mascara and lip gloss.

Other. I wear it when I feel like it, or if I know I’m going out later. This has really been a DGAF summer for me, which means anything from a baseball cap and no makeup, to just eyebrows. If my brows are visible and I’m going out they’re done, because they’re so sparse. If I do wear makeup, it’s a bare minimum: a sheer tint, brows and mascara. In the summer I throw on a shimmer highlighter, in the winter, a little powder. I always have on a sheer gloss because I apply compulsively. I don’t wear blush because my cheeks tend to be naturally rosy.

I can’t be bothered with make-up. My eyes itch and it’s all over 😂. I do wear candy cane chapstick daily. Hell, my hair gets brushed/combed after I towel dry it and most days I don’t brush it again until the next day after my shower. It gets twisted into a bun or ponytail pretty much every day.

I wear makeup most days but if I am not going anywhere on a weekend day I might skip.

Almost every day. And I’m retired and live alone.
I feel and look better with some makeup. I have pale, thin eyelashes, so mascara really helps. My skin tone is pale and uneven with some sun spots, so foundation and concealer help. I mostly skipped blush when wearing a mask during COVID, and I rarely use it now. Don’t do lips, but prefer some color on my eyelids.

I'm thinking I've "skipped" wearing make-up nearly every single day since about 1992 except for my wedding day, and even that day the amount I wore was extremely minimal.
I say "nearly" since once in awhile I did use tinted lip moisturizer vs. clear, and I do wear nail polish (although not every day, and sometimes not for months or years at a time).

I only wear makeup when I have to go out into the field and on special occasions. I’m olive skinned & I often have really dark circles under my eyes due to allergies. I feel like It’s too much work to put on makeup regularly.

I used to wear make up every day for work and on weekends if I left the house for whatever reason. Now I WFH so I rarely wear it during the week. Typically I only wear make up if I’m going out to dinner or to some kind of party or social event. I don’t bother if I’m just running errands.
ETA : when I do wear make up it is pretty much a full face with foundation, concealer, contour, blush, eyebrow gel, etc etc. I have decent skin texture but I suffer from redness and dark circles around my eyes no matter how much sleep I get.

I chose other. I used to wear full makeup with real foundation when I worked in retail. Quite a few years ago I started using cc cream and no heavy foundation. When I worked in office I would wear the cc cream, maybe blush, mascara, eye shadow, liner and lipstick. Being retired I skip that most days. I never put it all on to go grocery shopping like I used to. I do wear the work stuff when going out to eat or on outings since there's a good chance there will be pics taken. Covid changed me a lot. I care a lot less about makeup.

I wear makeup to work and when I am going out somewhere socially or for an appointments somewhere (Doctor, etc..). The exception is....if I am doing chore type errands and mundane type errands (like today >> Post office, grocery store, gas in car) I don't put on makeup.
If I am not leaving home on any given day....no make up and at least once or twice throughout the day and evening.... I am coated with lotion (hand, feet, arms, legs, sometimes back) or face moisturizer (face, neck). At least once a week, hair is saturated with deep conditioner.

I picked only going in public but there are time where I don't in public.. for work I always put makeup on when I go in the office. If I'm going to the grocery store it's a crap shoot... older I get the less I care. lol

During Covid I start only wearing CeraVe AM instead of foundation. I also did a little undereye concealer, brow pencil, mascara, blush and lipstick. Now, unless I'm going somewhere special, I only do the CeraVe, undereye concealer and lipstick. It's very freeing. But isn't CeraVe just a lotion/moisturizer? I don't put lotion and foundation in the same category. Foundation covers up all my flaws. So if I wear makeup this is my first thing I put on.

But isn't CeraVe just a lotion/moisturizer? Yes it is. I have decent skin so don't feel the new for foundation. I found that at my age it made my skin look worse.

I enjoy makeup and wear it daily unless I'm sick enough to be in bed. Even when I'm home I still put makeup on.

I chose other: I only wear make up a) when I go into the office for work, once a week, and b) when we go out eg, to a concert or dinner. So it's really only once or twice a week.
I only ever wear foundation and mascara. In the last couple of weeks I have even stopped wearing mascara to work - it's been really cold and my eyes have been watering when walking to the train station and office!
In summer I don't wear foundation. I use a tanning water on my face, and if I'm going outside I use a tinted 50+ BB cream.

My wigs are my makeup for the most part. With partial alopecia due to multiple medical things, I look incredibly different with a wig and without one. I don't wear them in the house (or at work since I WFH) or when running errands or going to my family's but do when I'm leaving the house for a date, for a social outing, etc. My general rule of thumb is if there's a chance I will be taking photos of what I'm doing, I will wear a wig.
I'm in my 40s and have yet to find a type of foundation or concealer that I like that doesn't over-emphasize my skin texture (in part because of how fair I am) so even when I'm going out, I don't wear much make up: a little concealer, some eyeshadow, and some lipstick. I don't know how to do eyeliner or lipliner so I don't generally try.

I wear very little, just light foundation for work but not consistently. Never wear it any other time and I never any type of eye makeup. I am very fair but have dark eyelashes and and weird colored grey eyes and I do not want to emphasize them with makeup. I wear glasses and people actually ask me if I am wearing contacts under my glasses and if those are my real eyes.

I only wear eyeliner and mascara usually. I don’t go for full on makeup unless it is a special occasion, evening out. And I only do my eyes if I’m leaving the house.

I only wear makeup if I am going out somewhere where I know the people, like work. If I am just running errands, I don't. I don't wear a lot of makeup to begin with, so I don't think the difference is really noticeable.
