Do you put minimal time, effort, and supplies into some pictures but other pictures feel more special so you use your favorite collections or supplies on them? Or do you give the same energy to all of your layouts? Or if you do some basic layouts and some more elaborate layouts, is it more dependent on mood rather than the pictures?
I'm doing much better about using whatever supplies I feel like using and not hoarding anything. But I do spend more time on pictures that I feel are really special. Maybe with more techniques, cut files, sewing, or looking for supplies.

Yes... sometimes I just want to get the photos off my pile.
It also depends if the layout falls under a theme and I have loads of supplies I can use, or if it's a generic layout where I have to be creative and make my own embellishments...

I never do SUPER elaborate layouts but I do more on some layouts and less on others. It can depend on whether I have just 1-2 photos - that's more likely to get a technique and/or embellishment heavy (for me - light for most, lol) layout or if I have a LOT of photos - that's usually getting a pretty basic, photo heavy layout with minimal embellishments.
And sometimes I'm working on a class or a challenge and those layouts tend to be more elaborate than most of mine

Yes - at the start of documenting a trip my layouts are amazing and intricate, and by the end you can definitely tell I am getting to the “get it done” stage. Because I know I’m like this I try and stagger my layouts for different parts of the trip so that the album/s look like I’ve used a similar amount of effort for them all 😂

Some pictures require a little more thought and planning... who is in it or what its of...
Others are just slap them down on some paper and put a title and call it a day...

I do go all out on some LOs more than others, but it often has more to do with my mood at the time of scrapping than anything else. Or instances when I find a paper match that i really love for a set of photos.

I don't scrap in order and I have a zillion photos so I just scrap the ones that I really love. I tend to put a lot of work into every one. Occasionally, a layout will have a hard time coming together and I'll go light on it, but I usually go back to it later (could be a week, could be a year) and add more to it.

All the time! Some layouts my "too much" gene kicks in and I stitch everything, die cut my life away, spend a week on one page. Then I will knock one out in an hour with premade embellishments and skip the time consuming details. Gotta follow the mood.

Yes. Absolutely. It depends on what idea I have or what period I’m currently in.

Yes, but generally my special photo layouts are more simple with the photo emphasized. If I just want to play with some product or make a busy LO, it's usually a everyday type photo, like maybe of a flower from the garden or a cup of coffee with hidden or long journaling tucked behind.
