Sorry to hear you have Covid My goals... well yesterday I decided out of nowhere to move my desk to the other side of the room, and in the process I'm going through piles of stuff (not all scrapbook related) and organizing. I will probably need to move some furniture around, which is not thrilling but maybe touching all my stuff will get me out of my creative slump... I guess my second goal (after getting stuff arranged and moved) would be to make some pages. I just had photos printed, so I don't have any excuses.

I have 4 or 5 layouts left for my Spain album so I'd like to finish that this month. I want to continue to work on my wordy wedding album as well. I don't know how many pages I have left to do in that one but I think I might be about halfway done.
August is always busy with school and extra-curriculars starting + my oldest's birthday and this year my husband and I also have some fun plans in the work (LoTR musical in Chicago -- whee!) so I don't know how much other scrapping will get done.

Aw that stinks, yes it takes a while to recover.
-August goals include mostly getting prepped for the Expo later this month. I do the crop both days and that is my prime scrap time for the year. I still have some kits leftover from last year I need to finish and have a plan for other photos/stories I want to scrap.
-Catch up on my HP layouts, I'm stuck in mid-June.
-Try to avoid getting into too much reorganizing yet, that's my fall plan.

My goals are the same old goals, that seem to be getting accomplished >> extremely slowly, but surely.
Upload photos and then edit them, so they are ready and waiting.....for when Walgreens has a .10cents or .12cents sale on 100+ prints.
Actually do some scrapbooking.
Fussy cut (I have a pile) everything that needs fussy cutting.

Complete PL pages for June and July. And put together the two new bookcases I bought for my craft space after cleaning out and moving around supplies.

Linda Glad to hear you're feeling better! I have some birthday cards to get done (one will go in the mail tomorrow!). Other than that, nothing time sensitive in August. I would like to finally(!!) start scrapbooking a NYC trip from last fall. I have all the photos printed and slotted into page protectors. I downloaded PDFs from a Shimelle class to use as a guide to get me through the trip. I struggle with travel scrapbooking so I'm hopeful the class will help me get going on it. It will be my first time scrapbooking in 8.5x11, so I'm kinda looking forward to that, kinda scared, lol.

I almost always use 8.5x11 12x12 is my usual size. I had the thought of using sketches if I find that my brain stumbles on the switch from square to rectangle. Hopefully it won't be a problem.

I would like to finally(!!) start scrapbooking a NYC trip from last fall. Fall in NY pictures to scrap! Fun! I hope you enjoy this project. Are you going with one collection or just whatever supplies you feel like using? Pagemaps has some great sketches if you get stuck. I'm pretty sure Allison Davis does, too.

I would like to update my goals to say, my stuff has been moved, and the room I scrap in has mostly been rearranged. I can't move the treadmill until the guinea pig pen moves but everything else has been shuffled.
I was trying to condense my supplies when I moved them so I could get rid of a piece of furniture, but I didn't quite get there... I am going to try to scrap today and tweak where everything is.
The plus side of my move across the room is I am closer to a window.

My goal this month is to get the cards I've made ready to donate. Most need some kind of internal sentiment stamped and a handwritten message. Some might also need a sentiment on the front. Once they're all the way ready to go I need to bundle them so I can have them truly ready to go in a box. I tend to leave all the final finishing steps until I'm ready to mail the box which makes the whole proccess far more time consuming.
I've started by stamping "seasons greetings" in 61 just-finished cards, and now I'm second guessing whether to handwrite or stamp another greeting. doh! I think I'm going to write it to make it more personal, but copy one of my stamps for the actual wording.
ETA: I got through those 61 cards this afternoon with a handwritten sentiment, signature, and a little decorative banner inside each. 6 bundles ready!
Next goal is to locate other cards that need the same treatment, choose a stamp, write, bundle, rinse and repeat.

linda, so sorry that you're going through Covid. Hope you're much better now. My goal for August is to hopefully get back in the groove; I've put aside sb-ing for most of the summer and recently completed a small purge to give some supplies to my grand-dau-in-law. I just have no mojo right now - hoping it reappears soon.

ETA: I got through those 61 cards this afternoon with a handwritten sentiment, signature, and a little decorative banner inside each. 6 bundles ready! Next goal is to locate other cards that need the same treatment, choose a stamp, write, bundle, rinse and repeat. I made really good progress on my goal! I got 249 cards stamped with an inside sentiment, written in, bundled, and sent off to Bring Smiles to Seniors + I sent them one blank card - couldn’t figure out what to write in one patriotic card. I moved all of the remaining cards intended for seniors into my storage bin after I got all those older ones out. They also need stamping and signing so that’s my next goal after a creative interlude. Now I have a better idea of which sentiments I can stamp and a bunch of written messages to copy so there’s less overthinking to do. Ideally I’m going to try to keep up with the insides as I go, but there’s still some catch up to do. I have a separate box for Cards for Cubs. I’d like to get those a bit better organized too, and I should bundle them by theme now so they’re ready for next spring.

I’ve been in a bit of a slump. I have a 6 day weekend for Labor Day and am hoping to shift around a couple of storage pieces to make things more accessible. I also need to label containers because I don’t know where anything is!
I also need to print photos and plan for a crop in November.

With the kitchen remodel underway, I spent more time downstairs with the pups in my craft room, and I am happy to say I completed my October 23 Grenada Travel album! All I need to do is put the layouts in order! Done!

One of my DILs was here today and she was perusing the 2020- 2022 books. We moved in 2021 and she unpacked my albums (60+ completed albums and about 20+ empty ones) onto three ladder shelves. She told me she'd organize them by year another time. Today we were watching football and my other DIL was trying to find 2023 and I said they weren't in order. So DIL #1 said that she was doing it now. I helped her and we got it done in a halftime plus one quarter of football. It feels so good to have that done.

950nancy - how lovely that you got that done and with help even. I remember what a project it was to get my albums organised when we moved (also 2021)
