Forewarning about the 12x12 albums that were in the sale items…they don’t fit in 12x12 shelving. Or at least mine. Bummer.

I received my package today. Everything was there. No damage that I could see. Is it me or are the items are bigger every year, though? 😂

Happy for you! Yes! I feel like I remember the first December Daily kits were in a box about 5 x 7. Certainly not big enough to hold a 6 x 8 page protector! |

I also have to add some things I have noticed now I’ve received my order:
- main kit: the white puffy numbers have a weird green tinge
- main kit: the 3x4 cards and die cut tags are cream/weird cream white not white which I’m super disappointed about
- the red album is tomato red and I am not a fan in real life as it doesn’t match any of the reds in the kit (which I prefer so much more) ie the papers, the die cuts etc
- the 4x6” page protectors do not fit in 6x8” albums unless you punch new holes 🙄

I still haven’t gotten my box, and that’s ok lol!
I had a dream last night about it though… and I dreamt there was a note that the ran out of tree albums, so they included a sample that was originally considered for the release. The covers were the colorful striped paper with gold stripes in the main kit paper pack.
It was the most beautiful album I’ve never seen!!

Received my box yesterday! Everything is exactly as ordered and expected. 12x12 album fits nicely in my kallax unit.
Must say…..*huge* box with tons of paper for so few items. Ridiculous.

Some of the die cuts in the variety pack are HUGE! I am disappointed to see toddler-sized hearts and sayings.

I watched the videos, knew it was called the big die cut pack, and saw Ali measuring lots of them, and still was really surprised at how big they actually are 🤣 it's going to be a challenge using many in my 6x8 album with the number of photos I use! |

There are a lot of huge pieces that I will struggle to use in the 6x8 album, it will have to be with tiny pictures and little journaling. The main kit is perfect for the 10x8 size.
I will hopefully find inspiration from others using the main kit with the 6x8 album.

My DD shipment was due Wednesday, but then got “unexpected delay” (location not listed), and rescheduled to be delivered today, Friday, by 2pm. But it’s now 6pm and the tracking hasn’t budged since the delay notification a couple days ago.

Mine came this afternoon. I opened it tonight and went through everything. It was a very large order and I'm pleased to say the only thing I was missing was in the main kit there's some tags numbered 1-31. I was missing #27. But I'm okay with that because I only go through the 25th anyway. Since I posted last year about the total mess that my box was I thought it was only fair to give them credit this year. They did a great job!
I'm also shocked by how big some of the things are even though I knew they were. Seeing them in person was kinda...whoa. I have done 10x8 the last several years and was thinking I would do 6x8 this year for a change but after seeing everything I'm thinking of sticking with 10x8. I really do love that size anyway.

I received my box on Thursday but didn't think to check the Main Kit items to make sure everything's there - thanks for the tip, I will do a thorough inventory today. I'm excited to have all of the supplies for when the classes start and so I actually have time to make foundation pages, etc,- last year I ordered in November (my first time using AE for DD), so I missed out on a ton of stuff.

My box shipped very quickly and I got it a few days ago, though I waited to open it all until Friday, when my work week was behind me. I am pretty happy with everything, although I did not go through each individual pack of items to check for mistakes so I should go back through. The only real bummer was the dark word washi tape in the main kit: when I unrolled it, the adhesive was pulling up the color from the tape so it isn’t that solid dark background. It almost makes it look distressed which isn’t a huge deal but still disappointing that the color can come off that easily. The multicolored washi was fine and that was the one I liked best anyway but still.

I finally had the chance to go through everything in my box. I’m missing the numbered pennants in the main kit and I didn’t get the prompt paper pack at all. I guess I’ll be sending an email later today.

Mine are grey-ish. I'll ckeck the cards and tags tomorrow. As for the 4x6 pp, Ali did say they wouldn't fit in 6x8. But I agree they could have made it fit. What annoys me is that the inside is bigger than 4x6. It's at least 1/4 bigger. It probably won't matter to anyone else but I don't like seeing through and the picture/card moves. |

Do you mean the actual pocket is bigger? If so, this was the case with the WITL album page protectors from this year as well. The 6x8 pp was much bigger than 6x8, 4x6, etc. Someone brought it up in the AE thread. They must’ve switched manufacturers or something. It’s annoying for sure.

The page protectors do seem different from the ones we had in the past--thinner and more flimsy. I got my box today, and everything looks intact. I kind of wish I had tried to get the tree album, but at least I know that the red/star album will look ok on my bookcase next to last year's 6X8 album. If anyone is taking the hybrid class, let us know how it's going! I have the class. I am two lessons in....and it's ok. Nothing ground breaking, but the projects are nice. It's just pretty basic things that I already knew how to do and/or would be figured out how to accomplish without much effort. If you are new to digital and/or new to die cutting then I could see these lessons being handy. |

I finally had a chance to go through my items and the only thing amiss is the white (grey? blue? greenish?) puffy stickers from the main kit - three of the "3" are missing. I likely won't complain as I don't see myself using all 14 of the 3's anyway.
I agree with everyone about the size - everything is uniformly TOO BIG.
If any of Ali's design team are reading - please, some smaller embellishments next year.
