I'm so ready. I have to get back into the habit of getting everything done Friday night/Saturday so I can lounge on Sunday and watch Redzone all day. I'm a Patriots Fan so I'm not missing a lot by watching Redzone.  |

I've never had an NFL that I've been loyal to, mostly watched more of one team or another based in individual players (usually former Nebraska players). I've enjoyed watching the Chiefs the past few years.
I've been life long Nebraska fan. I attended from 1994 to 1998 so 3 of my 4 years were championship years. I was in the marching band for 3 years so I got to go to 2 of those championship bowl games! I'm still a fan and regularly drink the preseason kool-aid...but really feel this is the year...again...hopefully.
DS19 recently asked me what I would be happier with 1)winning season and bowl game but lose to Colorado and Iowa or 2) beat Colorado and Iowa but go 2-10 or at least have another losing season. That was a tough question that I'm ashamed to admit I'd probably pick #2!
I'm also now a D2 South Dakota Mines & Technology Hardrocker fan because DS19 is part of the football team. Hopefully he gets to play this year, would be even better if he got to play in the September game we're going to go see!

I'm going on vacation then coming home for the start of the Ole Miss football season. There are high hopes this year, so we'll probably even go to the beginning of the season games that we would normally watch at home.
