I'm in my state's Blue Dot group on FB. A member just posted a Spotify playlist with all the roll call songs. I'm a sucker for Turn Down for What by Lil Jon. I had a hard time keeping the volume down for that one. Ya know due to the spoilsport in the other room. |

I heard on the news that they were an hour late starting last night because of protestors and security, plus they got behind schedule as well. They said apparently a lot of folks were unhappy about Biden coming on so late. They are planning to be more on schedule tonight (let's hope so) So apparently I am not the only "entitled" one? I have tried multiple times to be gracious in explaining my frustration. I have repeatedly done my best to explain why but you are obviously hurt because you won’t let this go. I am sorry for any way I may have hurt you that causes you to keep bringing this up. I would like to move on but you seem incapable of doing so. I don’t need to feel like I’m right or like everyone else knows I’m right to move on so I am asking you: How do we bridge this gap and move forward? |

See now you are reading way too much into it. I was discussing with other people on the thread, possible start times that would make sense for the larger audience to view Biden's speech. You came in and hand slapped. I have no trauma. I am not angry. I don't have time for that nonsense. I just don't appreciate getting hand slapped by someone who doesn't know me especially when I was bringing up something that I believe was very valid. So you might want to take a look at your own moral superiority. |

I was simply trying to say the reaction indicates this isn’t just about what I said and while no one has to accept an apology, doubling down and finger punting after the fact is not helpful either. At this point I’m giving up.
