Following along with starting a thread with artbabe, which cookie do you reach for when you need a scrapbook snack? I guess my favorite is chocolate chip (homemade) but chocolate isn't exactly paper-craft friendly. I'm trying to think of a tasty, tidier cookie. Vanilla wafers just don't do it for me. Unless they're in a banana pudding. Nutter-Butters are good but they really need to be dunked in milk. So what do you all like?

For me: sugar cookies because I don't like them so they won't end up near my desk For the rest of the world, maybe oatmeal raisin because they aren't gooey and don't have powdered sugar or cinnamon on them that can fall off.

I'm not really a snack at my scrapbook table person but for a cookie snack while browsing here or watching YouTube videos or the like? homemade chocolate chip or peanut butter or a Pepperidge Farm Milano are my favourite year-round options -at Christmas, I like chocolate covered German gingerbread or cocoa crinkles

I don't eat or drink around my scrapbook stuff.....because I don't want to accidently spill something or make a mess and ruin a layout. Been there, done that. No cup of hot tea (or other food and drinks) allowed around scrapbooking in progress. Definitely learned from my mistake.
If I am having a snack or drink, I do it at my kitchen table..... away from all products and layouts in progress.
My favorite cookie is chocolate chip.

Hmmm…I’m going to say White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies. A close second is M&M Cookies..

Costco is carrying a new cookie here: they are animal cookies dipped in Reese Peanut butter coating and a chocolate coating. They're good for scrapbooking because I can pop a whole one in my mouth so my fingers don't get sticky and there are no crumbs on my desk. They're good anyways, but now that you bring it up, they are also excellent as a snack while crafting

Oatmeal raisin, for sure. (ETA: In reality, I don't snack while scrapping, which, really, is a pretty good reason for me to scrap far more often. )

I also don't snack much when crafting, but my favorites are 1) peanut butter 2) oatmeal, in no particular order.

Don't eat Nabisco Pinwheels cookies, a coworker looked at my album while eating one and left smudge marks (thank goodness for page protectors)

None. I don't generally snack & rarely take food/drink outside of the kitchen/breakfast nook/dining areas.
FTR my favorite cookie is the classic chocolate chip (especially when warm & topped with a swirl of chocolate or buttercream frosting)!

Biscoff cookies. Love them! I am in a bit of a Biscoff phase at the moment - love them! I even made a truly decadent Caramel Biscoff slice a couple of weeks ago. Hmmm…I’m going to say White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies. Yes!! I love me a good White Chocolate and Macadamia cookie. I also have an amazing recipe for these, that I make for my mum for Mother's Day and her birthday. They're a bit more fiddly than normal cookies, but oh-so worth it!

AussieMeg: I can’t remember the last time I made them from scratch. We usually just buy them from Kroger or Walmart. Sometimes they are hard to find.

Oh, barbarac and AussieMeg, I've never heard of Biscoff cookies. I'll have to look for them next time I go to a larger grocery than my small Kroger.

Oreos are a classic christinec68. Thanks for mentioning them - the tiny ones in the little cups would be pretty "unmessy". I get those for my great gr-kids. And lindamh your lemon lasagna sounds so rich!

@breetheflea, buy cookies you don't like - great stategy! I do that with Halloween candy. I only buy the candies I like very close to Halloween so I won't have as much time to be tempted.

I have to have snacks/drinks while scrapping.. it's a must... lol.. I might not BE snacking, but they need to be around me. Usually I have a drink that has a lid. I'll take the chance.
Anyways, my own chocolate chip cookies are my favorite. Then I like Lemon Oreos, sometimes those wafers that are pink, vanilla, and chocolate, M&M cookies (soft).. no crunchy cookies allowed except the Oreos.

I also like the Double Dark Chocolate Milanos linda. Years ago around Christmas time they came out with a chocolate-enrobed Milano. So good but haven't seen it in several years. And I only make Chocolate Crinkles at Christmas time; love those too.

Oh, barbarac and AussieMeg , I've never heard of Biscoff cookies. I'll have to look for them next time I go to a larger grocery than my small Kroger. They are the cookies Delta serves during flights. My grandson loves them. I don't eat anything except good chocolate that I can put the whole piece in my mouth, so I don't make a mess.

Totally agree with preferring soft, chewy cookies over crisp cookies workingclassdog. We used to call those pink, vanilla, & choc wafers "ice cream cookies".

Yes I agree about not having drinks close to my work table @scrapbookmylife. If I'm having coffee I leave it in the kitchen and make multiple trips to finish it off.

I've never been a fan of white chocolate @ilovetoscrappea (unless it's used to dip pretzels) but of course M & M cookies are delicious.

Wow those cookies sound amazing kitbop! I guess it's a good thing I don't have a Costco close to me or I'd have another favorite that I shouldn't have. I'm diabetic and I really do try not to go overboard these days.

Good choices melanell and FurryP. And sort of healthy: peanut butter for protein and oatmeal for fiber.
