Any favorite photos so far this summer? Vacation, beach days, lazy days, camping, celebrations? Any sketches, or collections planned out for them? Or have you already scrapped some?

We went to a local (minor league) baseball game on the 4th of July. I haven't scrapped it yet because I missed a photo when I ordered prints. I haven't decided if I'm going to scrap it baseball themed, or 4th of July themed or both since both themes according to designers only come in red, white, and blue... I haven't decided on a sketch or a plan either... Then we went to a concert in August, I have the photos printed but did not have anything close to rock concert worthy in my stash so I had to order some paper. It hasn't shipped yet. I am still trying to decide how to incorporate all seven hours of event-- getting there, buying stuff, eating food, the first two bands that played, and the actual concert we went to see --into less than 10 pages I have already started to scrap a few layouts from the summer, I posted a couple on the Q3 sharing thread, but still have a ton more including a 4-day vacation, and a day trip to the beach to work on... I also still have one or two layouts from last summer lingering in my to-finish pile.

I received a few photos via text, of Great Nieces and Great Nephews. I love receiving those cute unexpected surprises and want to make a page layout about it.

My DS and I went to Abbey Road Studios at the end of June with our choir, and recorded some tracks. It was one of the best experiences of my entire life. I took dozens of photos and then received the 350 official photographs a few days ago, along with the recordings (which are fabulous!). I have no idea where to start with them. 😂

I have some great photos of my grandson wake surfing. I'm not sure how I'll scrap them yet. I'll probably go through my Pinterest board for some inspiration.

I spent a weekend camping in a national park with some friends and the pictures make me so excited to scrap! Scrapping travel and outdoor adventures are my favorite! Plus, I got a photo of the exact moment my friend saw a bear for the first time and the excitement on her face is perfect. I need to do something special for that photo!

I have an embarassment of riches as far as scrapable summer photos this year.
DD17 took two amazing trips with her Girl Scouts troop - they did a week of backpacking and whitewaterrafting and saw their first bear! And then they did 10 days canoeing in the Boundary Waters - which reminds me, she hasn't given me the GoPro pics from that yet.
DS32 went to Spain and Denmark in May/June, Guam and Saipan in late June/early July, and California in mid July - he's sent me loads of lovely photos. (these were all work trips - he's military - but he found time to sneak in some sightseeing)
DD17 had senior photos taken and the prints I ordered came in this week
Plus back to school, senior breakfast, and senior picnic.
DD24 has sent me a plethora of kitty photos
I think the only ones I've scrapped so far are the Senior breakfast.

I have all of our vacation photos scrapped & I'm happy about that.
I am waiting on what kit to use for my Alanis concert photos. She has been a bucket list concert for me for many years, and her debut album is in my Top 5 Favorite Albums of All Time so I want to do them justice but there is a real lack of (digital) concert-themed kits.
I'm actually planning on taking some great photos this weekend: ladies' night tonight at the local pottery place, the LoTR musical tomorrow in Chicago, the Festival of Oddities event in MI (finally a way to use all the Halloween kits in my stash!), and a petting zoo/drive-through safari Monday. I'm sure I'll have at least a couple of summer faves between all those things.

We went on a big family vacation this summer. Of course I probably won’t get to scrap those photos for some time. I’m probably going to want to make a separate album for that trip.

Well my summer was way back in January, and I still have quite a few beach and river photos to scrap from back then, as well as photos from summer trips with friends.
I'm currently enjoying my second summer in Thailand, and I will have heaps of fun beach and pool photos with our friends to scrap. I bought some cheap heart shaped sunglasses before we left home, and the four of us wore them today in the resort pool. I'm looking forward to scrapping those.

I haven't scrapped any yet, but since we spent a whole lot of time on exterior yard and house work this year, I'm afraid most of my pictures consist of grass, dirt, mulch, and old wood---nothing terribly fun this summer. Hopefully next year we'll be hosting some events in the improved yard and those will be better.

No traveling this summer but I got a new dog in June and almost all my photos are about how obsessed with him I am lol. I ordered some dog themed stuff as as it has been over 10 years since my last fluffy friend

I have a Universal Studios trip that I need to scrapbook. I have scrapbooked one photo from the whole day! I really need to print all the photos and organize my pages.

Do you ever do double page layouts? I'd love to see them, if you do. I do double page layouts occasionally! I tend not to photograph them because they are not square and the Instagram dimensions don’t work as well. Let me see if I can find some photos of my two-page spreads.

We did a beach day that I'm looking forward to scrapping. I still have last year's beach photos to scrap as well. I have a beach themed patterned paper pad that I'll use to scrap them, plus a handful of shell & beach stickers that I collected. The beach is by far my very favorite place on Earth. I could be there every single day of my life and never tire of it. Scrapping travel and outdoor adventures are my favorite! Yes! Me too!!

We went to Niagara Falls and Canada's Wonderland. We saw the falls from so many different positions and sometimes got soaked. I will put the highlights in my monthly album. I would like to do a trip album but I don't know what size. That will have to wait until I get pictures from my sister.

I actually went to a couple of concerts this summer.

She has been a bucket list concert for me for many years, and her debut album is in my Top 5 Favorite Albums of All Time so I want to do them justice but there is a real lack of (digital) concert-themed kits. Do you have a kit in mind? I saw her this summer too. It was AMAZING! You can tell she puts absolutely everything into her performance. I loved that Joan Jett was the opening act. She is so bad ass.
ETA: I went to Jamaica in May, not summer BUT I hadn't been to a beach in over 20 years and it definitely felt like summer. A couple we went with had snow at their house while we were gone! I'm using a Simple Stories line; vintage or retro summer I think. I actually have quite a few embellishments but not enough paper. I bought them at their warehouse sale.
