He cheated on his first wife more than once. If this is the first time he's cheated in this marriage I'll eat my hat.  At the very least his first step to regain my trust would be getting a damn vasectomy. But I'm pretty sure a child with another woman would be a deal breaker for me. I'm skeptical this child is a result of a one-off lapse of judgement.  |

I dont particularly have opinions about most public figures, assuming their morals are not important to the job they are doing. I dont think cheating makes him a bad person - it makes him a bad husband in my opinion, but only his wife's opinion matters. I think it makes him a poor father as well. |

This surprises me though I don't know why. Men do it all the time. I will give him credit for acknowledging the child and being a father to her vs. pretending like she doesn't exist. Im curious if his ackowledging this child is because he was about to be exposed or if he did it willingly. We will probably never know, but I am curious. I don't know either, but I would bet TMZ was about to run with it. |

I don’t know him personally 😜 but I’ve always loved him. I’m disappointed in this story but I’ll still appreciate his music. All the fallout is on his wife and daughters and I’m so sorry for them.

This has definitely tainted my view of him.
Although, he spends a lot of time in his book telling everyone what a good father he is... maybe he was trying to convince himself or compensate for bad behavior.

Well, I’m glad I didn’t know this before I saw them a couple weeks ago. A big part of why it’s such a great show is how dang likable he is!
But, Rock Star Cheats On Wife isn’t exactly earth shattering news, sadly, no matter how likable. I’m convinced that even celebs we think are wonderful and would never would surprise us.

I'm disappointed in the news. And I think he was trying to get a jump on being exposed. It's the only reason why I can see him making such a public statement. Frankly, I don't see that he took a lot of credibility here. "We're grateful for your consideration of the children involved." Really dude? Because you clearly didn't take them into consideration when you cheated on your wife and had unprotected sex! My heart breaks for his wife and daughters. I hope they can move on with some peace in their lives (and a big chunk of his money). Yeah call me petty. He deserves all the dragging he is getting. |

I am not saying he needed to stay married to their mother, but he should have had enough respect for her to at least be separated before having sex with another woman. |

I think the title should have been "Dave cheats AGAIN during second marriage. As a result of his stupidity (and maybe hers as well for not forcing protection AND being with a married man), they end up pregnant and have a baby."
I never thought he was a good guy. He did stupid stuff when with Nirvana. And with his current band.
