Did anybody here get the Sticker Mule mass email that went out to any person in the US who has ever purchased anything from them before? Basically it went on about how the owner supports Trump but they have employees that support Biden (at the time) and something about playing nice - but hey, our tshirts are all on sale - you should buy some Trump support shirts. They lost a lot of business over that. We didn't get the email here in Canada. But I'll never buy from them again. It wasn't that they support Trump - it was the complete lack of ethics using an email list to spread political stuff from a place people shouldn't be getting it. But NOW? SO done with them. I won't post the live video here, just a link to the reel. It is SO disgusting I can't even imagine who the hell thought it was a good idea. FB reel

I've never even heard of them, but yikes, yeah, I can't imagine any point in which I would have made a video like that, never mind posted it anywhere. That's just horrible!

I've never heard of them but that video is disgusting. I don't understand it and what it has to do with Trump tho? Is it part of their marketing?

I got the email and commented about it here at the time. That video is sickening and whoever thought it was a good idea needs to get their head examined. I was done with them after getting the email.

I've never heard of them but that video is disgusting. I don't understand it and what it has to do with Trump tho? Is it part of their marketing? The email they sent was basically “we like Trump so buy our shirts” and I would imagine the video is in reference to when Trump made fun of a disabled reporter. Totally deplorable and in bad taste. ETA: Prior to all this I had bought one roll of promo priced stickers (which were ok) and one t-shirt with my logo on it that was such lousy quality I complained so they made me another which was equally bad so I’ve never worn either one. After getting that email, I deleted my account. Seriously, when my kid was in middle school she made me a full color printed and diecut iron on decal at school that is 1000% better quality than what they sent.

That's disgusting.
I knew about the original issue with the email. An artist I follow used them (to print her pro-Biden, -Harris, -Dem, anti-Trump stickers HA!) and she switched her business to another company.

I don't want to watch the video, can someone give an idea on what it is? Is it Trump disgusting? Or something else?

I've never heard of them but that video is disgusting. I don't understand it and what it has to do with Trump tho? Is it part of their marketing? After the first debate, the company sent out the email about supporting Trump but that they have employees that support Biden, and we all work together - see how that can be done? And then offered a sale if you bought Trump support shirts. This video is separate from that issue - just more awful crap from a company that is showing its true colours.

Not only repeated use of the "r" word in reference to disabled people - it is also exploiting a disabled employee (who is the one using the word over and over) - I think they think that makes it ok to use the word because a disabled person is using it.

I have never bought from them, so no email. But I do know about the story because I follow people who used to buy their stickers from them. Disgusting man. His employees are kind of caught in the middle too, stay or try to find another job.
Lot of the drama started when he posted on IG after Trump got shot. Lot of customers objected to the post. Then the owner really ramped up the Trump Love.

I truly do not understand why it is funny or clever, or how it is supposed to help sell stickers. WTF?

I didn’t watch the video but isn’t Penzeys doing the same thing, using an email list to promote a candidate???
Personally I think businesses and celebrities should keep their politics to themselves.

IMO brands can do what they want but then don't be surprised when people make choices based on your free speech.

Penzeys has made a statement. The OP was questioning the ethics of a company using their email list to spread their political standing, the video was a separate matter. If Penzeys can use their email list to make a statement then so can Sticker Mule.

Yes Penzeys also sent an email, was it offensive? I don't think so.

I’m guessing Trump supporters didn’t find sticker mule’s email offensive either. Like I said, companies need to keep their political leanings to themselves unless they are willing to jeopardize their business.

I think Sticker Mule did not think about who their customers are. Many who make stickers are artistic types, who tend to lean left. They have lost customers. I saw artists asking others for recommendations for a new sticker company to use. They have probably picked up some customers, but is it enough to make up for those they lost?

I think Penzey's emails can be a little much, even for me (and I agree with everything they say). But I don't think they are offensive in the same way this video is. It's strange to me that the man who is talking in the video and saying the offensive things seems to be the same person that posted it. Is he the owner? It doesn't seem like the company really has very good judgement. Do they have the right to post or advertise in the way they want? Sure. But I think they will lose customers of all political leanings from this.

Here is the CEO: www.instagram.com/reel/C_n-zOyvF2W/?igsh=MWQ1ZGUxMzBkMA==And Ricky shows up in other videos on their IG feed.

The Penny’s email is different - trump outright said they were a terrible overpriced product, and their email was to combat that and gain some sales from possible losses from his followers.

Penzeys has made a statement. I was only commenting on companies expressing their political opinions. I was not commenting on the video, which is awful, but also a free choice by the company to share. However I hope they are ready for the consequences of the court of public opinion.
