Welcome back to Monday pea friends! This weeks sketch features strips to create a large "frame" on your page to hold your title (but hey, it could be a journaling place too!) and your photo block then anchors those strips to the page. My biggest challenge was finding a journaling space - I did sketch a place in, and that worked well for me, but you could also just journal on the background pp if you don't choose something busy like I did. I can see this sketch being either a colourful background pp with white or black strips to make your frame, or a neutral background with coloured strips. Hope you give it a try and change things up as much as you want! Untitled by kirstendrew, on Flickr My take turned out like I envisioned - I had planned to tear or use a punch to create the paper above/below the photo block, but then had a sticker that was perfect. This is mostly Bella Blvd. layout Number One by kirstendrew, on Flickr

What a fun and different sketch, kitbop! Love using the pp strips as borders! Will head over to Flickr in a bit to leave some love for your page.

Love on Flickr. Just selected photos, and you know me--gotta make it a double page Plugging along on my Scrapbooking Birthday Cruise. It is so fun to relive these memories!

I love this layout! I fall for text PPs every time, and I really like how you’ve used one here. Think I may have to copy that aspect as well as the sketch! 😁

kitbop This went together very easily ONCE I finally decided on which papers to use! LOL
Quick Quotes paper and tags. Two photos on the lower right are postcards. Sometimes on tours it is just easier to buy the postcard without people in the scene. Especially IF the people are not YOU!
Journaling: The southernmost tip of the country, Key West is closer to Havana than it is to Miami! Locals pedal bikes past charming pastel-colored Bahamian porches. Live music spills out of the restaurants that line Duval Street. From its fascinating history and beautiful natural landscape, Key West marches to the best of its own steel drum. We planned the World-Famous Conch Train tour and started in Mallory Square. We stopped at the Butterfly & Nature Conservatory and had lunch down the street. Back on the trolley we enjoyed the commentary and completed the tour on Duval Street. To finish the afternoon, we marveled at the “Little White House” inside tour and historical furnishings.
And Our cruise ship docked at the Navy Pier. There were very strict instructions to bring our SeaPass card and Photo ID due to Homeland Security regulations. (We noted a passenger who failed to do so—a bit of situation for them!) The shuttle took us into town and brought us back to the pier.

Here is my take on this sketch, kitbop. The journaling is on the first page which I shared in a different SKETCHtember challenge. I went from two photos to one, so the arrangement is a bit off, but I did use the thin strips to frame the pic and title. Treasure Found by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

SKETCHtember #16 by BreetheFlea, on Flickr Here's my take on #16. This photo came home with DS on the last day of school last year. DS (11) chose the page title. I used every "d" on the sticker sheet with one title. Thanks for the page idea kitbop

Thanks for the great sketch kitbop ! This layout is nothing like what I had envisioned for this lovely sketch. I had planned to do a pretty girly layout with lots of hearts and flowers, but then I had these photos that would work perfectly.
