This falls under you can’t make this stuff up.. From Just the News.. ”The Trump campaign filed a Federal Election Commission (FEC) complaint against The Washington Post on Friday for allegedly making "illegal in-kind contributions" to the Harris campaign. Citing media reports, the Trump campaign alleged that the newspaper is "using its advertising powers to promote pro-Kamala and anti-Trump coverage to voters in the final days of the election," which takes place on Nov. 5. "While they declined to endorse her publicly, they have endorsed her in the dark; so much for 'Democracy Dies in Darkness,'" the campaign said, referring to the Post's current slogan. "The mainstream media has become nothing more than pro-Kamala propaganda. The Democrat machine must be held accountable," the Trump campaign said in a statement.” x.com/justthenews/status/1852381686970958192?s=61&t=j45uMgNk1i8O0YllKF58nw

This is just funny and .... WASHINGTON — Virginia GOP congressional candidate Derrick Anderson has issued a cease-and-desist order to his Democratic opponent, Eugene Vindman, over campaign ads accusing Anderson of trying to pass off someone else’s wife and three daughters as his own family. Anderson, who is unmarried and has no children, made national headlines in September after The New York Times flagged that his campaign was using footage of him posing with the woman and children in what could easily be mistaken for a family photo shoot, except it turned out to be a friend’s family. One video featuring Anderson with the woman and girls was shared on Anderson’s YouTube channel and posted on a website paid for by the National Republican Congressional Committee. In another video his campaign filmed for a possible ad and that was posted on the NRCC’s site, Anderson is shown sitting around a dining room table with the same woman and girls. On Thursday, Anderson released a new ad about abortion that includes that footage of him sitting at the dining table with the woman and her daughters. They appear right around the 20-second mark. His campaign told HuffPost in September that this footage was simply Anderson appearing in “a normal campaign video with female supporters and their kids.” But in the final days of this election cycle, Vindman and Democratic groups are running a barrage of campaign ads accusing Anderson, who reportedly lives with his dog and is engaged, of trying to give voters the impression that he’s a family man. And Anderson’s campaign responded with a cease-and-desist letter, saying on Monday that Vindman and local TV stations don’t have the right to air images of the family seen in Anderson’s videos. *** “This letter is to serve as written notice to your station that Vindman for Congress did not obtain the permission of Mrs. Cremisio to use her image or the permission of Mr. or Mrs. Cremisio on behalf of her three minor daughters, to use their images in their advertisement,” read the letter. *** The ads hitting Anderson over his “fake family” range from serious to comical. A Vindman ad called “What Is Real” flashes an image of Anderson with this family as ominous narration says the Republican candidate “got caught lying again, faking a family.” *** “Ready, sweetie?” says the Anderson look-alike, tossing a Frisbee-like toy at a cutout of one of the girls and watching as the disc falls to the ground. This ad, called “Fake,” warns that the Republican candidate is trying to fool people about lots of things, including his extreme views against abortion. www.huffpost.com/entry/derrick-anderson-fake-family-photo-cease-and-desist_n_6722487ce4b03a564e7cf110

Just curious, where has Buttigieg been lately? I miss seeing and hearing him on the campaign trail. He's been in Michigan and Wisconsin a lot. Maybe because there are so many Harris surrogates right now - governors, Clintons, Obamas etc, he hasn't been in the news as much? Also, regrettably, Trump has been sucking up a lot of the oxygen and election coverage lately Pete The whole family was thrilled to welcome Tim_Walz to Traverse City tonight!

These people are truly sick.. they are creating havoc... A group of anti-government extremists who showed up in western North Carolina promising to provide disaster relief after Hurricane Helene is now threatening to destroy cell-phone towers and sabotage military vehicles. The group, Veterans on Patrol, attracted attention by setting up a disaster relief staging area in the parking lot of the Ingles grocery store in Lake Lure, about 50 miles from Asheville. But locals, including some who initially cooperated with the group, began to complain about threats and harassment. Over the past three weeks, members of the group, which falsely claims that Helene was caused by a “weather weapon,” have been making conspiracy-driven claims that the U.S. military is attempting to kill U.S. citizens with “directed energy weapons.” Veterans on Patrol’s channel on the encrypted social-media platform Telegram posted a message on Thursday displaying photos of what appears to be a cell tower on a mountaintop. The message asserted that locals “are in Live Exercises where the United States Military is permitted to destroy your homes, bodies and minds,” while suggesting that equipment on the tower “is solely for providing the U.S. military the means to murder Americans.” “Focus on tearing down their weapons,” the message reads. It continues, “All it takes is one weapon tower being toppled with the stated reason spoken boldly.” Another message posted in the group’s Telegram channel appears to advocate for sabotaging military vehicles and assets. "Simple acts of pouring sugar into fuel tanks of military equipment, backup power systems, and personal vehicles of military personnel can wreak havoc on those who murdered all these people out here,” reads the message, which was posted on Wednesday. Soldiers from Fort Liberty and Fort Campbell have deployed to western North Carolina to assist in the disaster response, along with National Guard members from nine states. www.rawstory.com/raw-investigates/hurricane-helene-extremists/

I have no idea what I did. I do not like or follow any MAGAts but for the last day I am inundated with ig posts from seemingly real guys who are justifying voting for Trump.
Nothing they say could make me change my mind, I scroll past but they keep coming.
I feel attacked
Can’t wait til it’s all over.

Not political, but..... It is since RFKjr might be involved with our future health!!
One of the high schools, that know about for sure, is facing rampant whooping cough. Of course allergy season too.
Any kid with a cough, goes home and must be tested to be able to return to school. Everyone is thrilled, because this week the schools are closed. My friend's son had blood work done yesterday and sees his DR Monday. He will get a booster, seems 10 years is booster time.

Surprise.... A congressman intervened to help former President Donald Trump’s social media company jump the line for a difficult-to-obtain foreign-worker visa to bring a company executive to the U.S., according to interviews and records reviewed by ProPublica.A former staffer for Rep. Don Bacon, a Nebraska Republican, said the congressman personally instructed her to help Trump Media, even though she thought it was inappropriate to mix politics with the office’s constituent services duties.“I specifically did not want to do this,” Bacon’s former director of special projects, Makenzie Cartwright, told ProPublica when asked about emails showing the lawmaker’s intervention. “It was specifically the congressman that suggested I needed to deal with it.” “Thank you so much for your help on making sure we push this forward,” the company’s chief operating officer wrote to another Bacon staffer in January 2022, according to an email reviewed by ProPublica. “I will make sure to thank the congressman as well!” www.propublica.org/article/trump-media-foreign-executive-us-visa-don-bacon

And more.... Great honesty... Former President Donald Trump’s social media company outsourced jobs to workers in Mexico even as Trump publicly railed against outsourcing on the campaign trail and threatened heavy tariffs on companies that send jobs south of the border. The firm’s use of workers in Mexico was confirmed by a spokesperson for Trump Media, which operates the Truth Social platform. The workers were hired through another entity to code and perform other technical duties, according to a person with knowledge of Trump Media. The reliance on foreign labor was met with outrage among the company's own staff, who accused its leadership of betraying their “America First” ideals, the person said. The outsourcing to Mexico helped prompt a recent whistleblower letter from staff to Trump Media’s board that has been roiling the company. That complaint, reported by ProPublica last month, calls for the board to fire CEO Devin Nunes, a former Republican congressman. The letter alleges he has “severely” mismanaged the company. It also asserts the company is hiring “America Last” — with Nunes imposing a directive to hire only foreign contractors at the expense of “American workers who are deeply committed to our mission.” "This approach not only contradicts the America First principles we stand for but also raises concerns about the quality, dedication, and alignment of our workforce with our core values,” the complaint reads. www.rawstory.com/trump-media-outsourced-jobs-to-mexico-as-trump-pushed-america-first/

Oh!!! Iowa..?? Harris leading?? Kamala Harris has “leaped” into the lead in a red state the Democrats had all but written off, analysis showed Saturday. The widely respected Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll now shows Harris leading her opponent Donald Trump 47% to 44%. *** Neither Harris or Trump have campaigned in Iowa since the state’s primary. It is not a state that's considered competitive. “A victory for Harris would be a surprising development after Iowa has swung aggressively to the right in recent elections, delivering Trump solid victories in 2016 and 2020,” the Register reported. The news site reported that women voters had driven the late shift to Harris.www.rawstory.com/kamala-harris-iowa/

Once again the idiot describes himself perfectly!
Aaron Rupar….
”After calling Kamala Harris stupid and low IQ, Trump now says she's "lazy as hell."
&
”Trump is really leaning into pushing baseless preemptive claims of election fraud today, which is how you know he's losing”
But sadly at this rally the idiot is really pushing the notion the election is rigged. In his demented little mind no how many votes are cast, if he doesn’t win it’s rigged.

It is definitely satire, because Channel 7 is one of our main free-to-air channels, and they would never be so obviously partisan or anti-trump on their real news broadcasts. I know Mark Humphries (he was on the ABC that I mainly watch) but I hadn't heard of the 6:57pm News, so I had to google. I am surprised that they are actually showing his segment at the end of the "real" news broadcast - good for them!

Let's think about this. TFG was in North Carolina calling out praise and looking for the Senatorial candidate... However he was calling McCormick... from PENNSYLVANIA.. x.com/mattmfm/status/1853187326366679309Another one who has no clue... Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign shared the video without comment — but with quotation. x.com/KamalaHQ/status/1853229063931838755And constitutional law professor Anthony Michael Kreis declared Walker's address to be nearly historic. "Herschel Walker’s introduction of Trump in Macon might be the funniest thing I’ve seen in a minute," he wrote.

The hypocrisy of Fox criticizing Harris for accurately calling Trump a fascist, after his own chief of staff did, but remaining silent about all of the names Trump has called Democrats over the years - communists, Marxists, fascists, garbage, scum, enemy within etc. I don't know why they're stuck on Harris calling Trump a fascist. I don't watch Fox so I don't know a lot about their anchors, but I thought Cavuto was one of the more moderate ones? The premise of his question is false and obnoxious. Pete, as always, handled the question really well. PeteCAVUTO: She called him a fascist
BUTTIGIEG: She said that she did not disagree with his chief of staff who said that
CAVUTO: Do you think Donald Trump is a fascist?
BUTTIGIEG: I don't think General Kelly is wrong.
