So Israel won’t participate in peace talks for the next 45 days. WTF. Seriously. Gee what happens then. This is so messed up. I guess he is counting on TFG to what?

They are hoping they don’t have to have peace talks at all.

That’s what they had a super secret Mar a lago meeting about. I guess if one were to speculate something like in exchange for some nice ‘cleared’ ‘cleaned up’ waterfront land maybe with a trump tower built on it, Trump will turn a blind eye to a total expedited ‘clearing’ & ‘cleaning up’ of the area. Sick. Jared pretty much spelled it out in his comments at Harvard, practically drooling over what land might be available if only Israel could ‘clean’ it up. Talk about dog whistles, the statements from Jared was full of them.

What Trump & co want isn’t good and I hope we never know what that deal is because I doubt either side will admit what was agreed upon and I certainly do not want to see it played out.

‘Hostile takeovers’: Trump Says immigrants are using ‘massive machine gun-type equipment’

With less than six weeks until Election Day and early voting already underway in four states, Donald Trump seems to have locked in on his closing message for what he acknowledges will be his final presidential campaign if he loses in November. It’s the same message that launched his political career nine years ago: attacking immigrants.

In a sign anti-immigrant sentiment is the highest it's been in over two decades, Gallup reports as of June, 55% of Americans want to see immigration decreased. In October of 2001, following the September 11 terror attacks, 58% wanted immigration decreased.

Trump's anti-immigrant attacks reached a crescendo two weeks ago during the presidential debate against his Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris. Seemingly out of nowhere, he dropped his "pet-eating" lie that would lead to dozens of bomb threats across more than 20 facilities in the small town of Springfield, Ohio.

"What they have done to our country by allowing these millions and millions of people to come into our country," Trump said, attacking Vice President Harris and President Joe Biden.

That lie was quickly debunked but Trump and his vice-presidential running mate, U.S. Senator JD Vance, continued to spread it.

This week Trump excised his pet-eating derangement, adding in another element: machine guns.

“We can’t have factories being built where you have criminals walking down the street with the worst weapons that you’ve ever seen, with machine guns and everything else,” Trump declared Tuesday at an event billed as a manufacturing policy speech in which he appeared to come out in favor of an assault weapons ban.

On Wednesday, the ex-president, a convicted felon who legally cannot own even a pistol, standing in front of banner that read "Jobs Jobs Jobs," expanded his claims at a rally in North Carolina (video below).

"But Kamala should have closed the border years ago, and we wouldn't have hostile takeovers of Springfield, Ohio, Aurora Colorado, where they're actually going in with massive machine gun-type equipment. they're going in with guns that are beyond even military scope, and they're taking over apartment buildings, they're taking over, real estate – they're in the real estate development business. Congratulations," Trump said sarcastically. "These are, in that case, people from Venezuela. Young street gang members that were sent here by the Venezuelan government."

Mark Jacob, an author and former Chicago Tribune editor turned media critic, blasted Trump and the mainstream media: "Trump’s lies to foment hatred against immigrants keep getting more vivid and unhinged, and major media are DOING A TERRIBLE JOB of explaining how dangerous this is."

Luis Moreno, a former U.S. Ambassador to Jamaica, remarked: "Besides eating cats, Haitian immigrants are now deploying crew served laser beam systems. We need to find out who is training these people!"

Trump had made similar, false claims during the debate, saying, "we have millions of people pouring into our country from prisons and jails, from mental institutions and insane asylums. And they're coming in and they're taking jobs that are occupied right now by African Americans and Hispanics and also unions. Unions are going to be affected very soon. And you see what's happening. You see what's happening with towns throughout the United States. You look at Springfield, Ohio. You look at Aurora in Colorado. They are taking over the towns. They're taking over buildings. They're going in violently. These are the people that she and Biden let into our country. And they're destroying our country. They're dangerous. They're at the highest level of criminality. And we have to get them out. We have to get them out fast."

The New York Times reported Trump's claims of hostile takeovers by Venezuelan gangs appeared to originate from allegations made by a landlord.

"As far back as May 2023, Aurora officials had been trying to force an out-of-state landlord to fix up three blighted apartment complexes," The Times reported earlier this month. "In July 2024, the landlord, CBZ Management, which says it is based in Colorado and Brooklyn, offered a new argument for why it couldn’t repair the buildings: Venezuelan gangs had taken over, and the property managers had been forced to flee."

Those claims were quickly repeated, and later, a public relations agent hired by the landlord sent an even more elaborate story to a local Fox affiliate as a "tip."

On Tuesday a nonprofit representing Haitian immigrants filed criminal charges against Trump and Vance, through its attorney, thanks to Ohio state law that allows private individuals to do so. They have asked a judge to issue an arrest warrant.

I remember when Jared made those comments and couldn’t believe he would actually say that out loud. He also said something about just moving them a a nice piece of desert or something like that. I really hope this doesn’t happen snd they don’t get their beach front property to build on. It is just so shocking to say such a thing and think it’s ok. When I think about it I just can’t imagine having no soul and thinking those people have no value or don’t deserve better. Just so unbelievable

A growing number of Republicans are doing cruel things to children's dogs then bragging about it in a new trend with ties to the former president, a new political analysis contends.

Kevin Roberts, Heritage Foundation president, joined the elite crew this week when his former New Mexico State University colleagues said he'd boasted of killing his 16-year-old neighbor's dog Loca with a shovel — a story the Project 2025 architect now denies.

Killing a teenage neighbor’s pet out of irritation and then telling co-workers about it might seem like a whole new level of bizarre," wrote Heather Souvaine Horn for the New Republic. "In some ways, that denial is the most unusual part of this whole story."

Horn argues a mounting number of Republicans not only torment children's animals — but express pride after the fact.

Most notably among the crew is South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, who boasted in her book that she shot her family's 14-month-old puppy without apparently warning her 7-year-old daughter Kennedy what was about to happen.

A subsequent ProPublica report found Trump Jr. had shot an endangered argali sheep and received a retroactive permit to do so.

Matt Gaetz will no long cooperate with the US House ethics committee..

In a letter to the House Ethics Committee, Gaetz said he would no longer cooperate willingly with their investigation and declared that "the fix is in."

"Your investigation into me has devolved into a political payback exercise, devoid of adequate due process, riddled with leaks, and now seeking deeply personal information that is no business of Congress," Gaetz wrote, and then accused the committee of releasing "public statements to cast me in a negative light."

Gaetz went on to address rumors that he engaged in sex with a minor and that he had taken illegal drugs.

While Gaetz unequivocally denied having sexual relations with an underage girl, he was more cagey when it came to answer questions about his past drug use.

"I have no used drugs which are illegal, absent some law allowing use in a jurisdiction of the United States," he wrote. "I have not used 'illicit' drugs, which I consider to be drugs unlawful for medical or over-the-counter use everywhere in the United States."

He closed his letter by announcing he was cutting off further cooperation with the probe.

"I will no longer voluntarily participate in this regrettable abuse of the Committee," he said. "I understand that the Committee has issued, but not served, a subpoena for my testimony. I explicitly reserve all of my rights pursuant to the House Rules and the U.S. Constitution."

The fallout from New York City Mayor Eric Adam’s stunning indictment on fraud and bribery charges continued to reverberate Thursday when a top Republican in Congress seized the opportunity to link Democrats as a whole to the “cult of corruption rampant in the New York Democratic Party.”

House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) vowed that Democrats would pay at the ballot box this November in an attack less than 24 hours after news of Adams’ indictment broke.
