TFG followers have no clue. They believe him while he is attempting to disenfranchise every member of our military, Embassies/foreign service, employees of numerous public and private companies who are overseas.

I honestly think he imagines that if he's president, American will immediately become a place where white nuclear families predominate so every woman will have a husband/protector. And he extrapolates from that, that abortion will no longer be needed.

John McEntee, a 34-year-old top Trump aide and the cofounder of a right-wing dating app, reportedly reached out to two teenage girls via social media and proceeded to push "conversations in directions that made them extremely uncomfortable and invited both, one repeatedly, to visit him in Los Angeles."

Grace Carter tells Wired that McEntee reached out to her via Instagram in October 2023, when she was an 18-year-old freshman at North Carolina State University.

McEntee, using the business Instagram account of the Right Stuff dating app, first reached out to Carter and offered her a free branded hoodie.

As the two continued to converse, he eventually invited her to visit him out in Los Angeles -- and wouldn't take no for an answer at first.

“I remember I told my boyfriend about it, and I was joking that he was going to be the other girl,” Carter tells Wired. “I was like, I could use a free trip, that’s initially why I kept the conversation going.”

In one message sent to Carter trying to entice her out to Los Angeles, McEntee tells her that “I think you’re a liberal” but then adds, “as long as you’ll be fun I don’t care.”

McEntee gave up on inviting Carter out to LA after she declined to meet him over winter break earlier this year, Wired writes.

Another woman, who wished to remain anonymous, similarly said that McEntee reached out to her when she was 18 and was apparently even more forward in his intentions than he was with Carter.

Bedingfield, who served president Joe Biden in the first two years of his presidency, doubted those remarks would appeal much to any women.

"My God, where there are so many places," Bedingfield began. "Okay, first of all, I think Trump has no understanding of why he has a problem with women. First of all, this is, like, creepy, like, bizarre messaging, but it's – he's talking at women, not to them, which is a problem that I think Republicans have across the board. It's like they think of women as this sort of other entity. That's not a message to women. That's talking at women, which I actually think this is a message for men, not for women."

He is the source of much of my anxiety, not someone that will make me less anxious or feel protected.

I agree with the commenter they quoted who asked 'can you be sexually harassed by a video?' because that's what listening to him felt like to me. I want a restraining order against him for all of our sakes!


(I also agree with the comment about the 'hypnosis' aspect of his tone of voice, almost like he was trying to hypnotize his audience.)

......President Donald Trump brought in a familiar face to help salvage his campaign: Corey Lewandowski. But the new Trump campaign chief is now facing a wave of scrutiny over his recent past.

A detailed Washington Post report shows that Lewandowski — who has been dogged by allegations of sexual harassment for years — is reigniting fear among the women who publicly accused him of battery and misconduct. One of those women is 35 year-old Trashelle Odom, who said Lewandowski made "multiple inappropriate, aggressive, violent and unwanted sexual comments" while sitting next to her at a 2021 charity dinner in Las Vegas.

Odom said that Lewandowski specifically boasted about the size of his genitalia and his sexual stamina and claimed his proximity to Trump gave him the ability to "destroy anyone." The Post reported that Lewandowski then "followed her around the hotel and made crude remarks about her body" before "throw[ing] a drink at her and call[ing] her stupid."

"I was intimidated and frightened and fearful for my safety," Odom — who at the time was married to Republican donor John Odom — told police.

Lewandowski was later charged with misdemeanor battery for the incident, and was forced out of his position as the head of a pro-Trump super PAC. However, he was eventually offered a deal by prosecutors in 2022 that he wouldn't have to actually plead guilty if he "agreed to pay a $1,000 fine, undergo impulse control training, serve 50 hours of community service and stay out of trouble for a year," according to Politico. Now, Odom says Lewandowski's new position atop Trump's 2024 campaign is a significant cause for concern.

“They just undid everything,” Odom told the Post. “I am very worried about his access to other women, and I am worried about the power the campaign is giving him over those women.”
