www.zillow.com/homedetails/30801-Ridgeview-Ave-Mount-Plymouth-FL-32776/45365794_zpid/I am in love. I wouldn't live here all the time because I'd miss clean lines after a while, but this could most definitely be my "Florida home" if I was buying a second home! Everything in here speaks to me except the bedspread and the furniture covered in circles, which will be put out at the curb immediately. Especially the little dolls on the chimney! And the flamingos in the bathroom. I can't wait to see how much the rest of the peas hate it. 🤭🖌️🧑🏻🎨☠️

Honestly, I was expecting a lot worse! I couldn't live there because the texture of all those walls is not something I could touch. Not to mention trying to dust seems like it could be a chore. The biggest thing that stuck out to me (besides the walls) was the dirty fridge. If I was there in person, I'd have to open it just to see the inside...

I really like it! A bit of plaster to smooth the walls, a lot of cream/white paint to brighten it up, modern bathroom and better kitchen and I'm straight in.

It needs to be completely emptied and thoroughly scrubbed… then we’ll talk. Haha.
The paint treatment in that one bathroom looks like mold on the walls. An interesting choice.
The quirkiness of the design and layout is intriguing. I’d just need a lot more white and bright… and clean.

I agree, it needs a good scrub and some paint. The bones are good, but it needs major attention. I do think the exterior is charming, in a Hobbit sort of way.

I feel like it probably stinks in there. I wouldn't like it even if it was cleaned up.

The first thought was how much dust those huge drapes in the livingroom? sitting room? would collect, and then I noticed the textured walls in the bathroom which would be a hard pass from me. How on earth would you clean that? And then I noticed every OTHER wall and ceiling was also textured, annnnd…no. Just no.

I love it!! But like the OP, don't think I could live there FT. And the flamingoes need to go and the weird statues on the headboard in the bedroom.

A lot of really neat details, but the grubbiness is mighty off putting.

I thought so too at first but it's older and everything else is clean, so I really think that's just where the surface wore off. I don't think it's actually dirty. I forgot that that would also be joining the other things at the curb!

Ummm...
Well, it IS different. I don't think I'd last more than a week though. And I once contemplated living in a cave house! But I was much younger.
This made my nose itch. Lack of smooth surfaces will collect dust like crazy. But it is very interesting! Cheap too! I would think this would be more like $ 800-900 thousand.

The exterior is fantastic, AND I love that the interior is different. (I really felt that last sentence, so you got every kind of emphasis going on there. ) So many times I see a house with a unique exterior and it's still office cubicle meets hospital inside and I cry. There is no cubicle not hospital here. Although given the state of the outside of that fridge, there may be something lab worthy inside of it. And that one detail I kept noticing is the only thing that worries me because then I wonder "When am I seeing a purposeful distressed wash over something, and when I am just seeing something that has been neglected?" But the overall personality of the house is fun, inside & out. The kitchen, overall, is the room I like the least, partly because I would say it's probably the least interesting of them all--plus the fridge thing.

I'd have to do a ton to it. Not that I can afford to buy it anyway but would cost a lot to *fix* it to me. The walls would need un-textured, that wall partition thing in kitchen would have to go(there's got to be a better way even if it is load bearing), that peaked doorway would need squared off(for some reason I just don't like it), the cutesy heart shutters would need gone- just not my style(whatever that is), sunken tub would need raised I'd never be able to get up and out of that.. but it's not that bad lots of painting, lots of fixing revamping etc..
I've saw worse though.. it's cute mostly.

I hate when an interior does not fit the exterior and can't say that about this place. I don't know if it is the filter they used, but I feel like it is dirty and not sure that is true. But I am kind of drawn to the Hansel & Gretel witch vibe of this place.
Love the cute narrow windows with the split shutters. Hahaha, can't believe that might be my favorite detail.
Disappointed with the appliances and lack of a cauldron in the kitchen.

I love the idea of it and the shape of it, but it was a little too rustic for me with the walls. I would feel like it was never clean, and I am not a clean freak whatsoever.
I love the trees and nature right outside the windows.

I think the house has good bones. I would change the decor. And the stone around the fireplace has to go. That just icks me out. I feel like it would never be clean and there’ll be all kinds of little bugs and spiders in it. I would clear out some of the trees. I don’t like trees right up against the house. I feel it hides the house too much. But that is coming from a city gal who lives in a fire zone. lol!

I'm only sharing kind of quirky properties and we are all different 😁 I never hesitate to share my opinion when I dislike a home posted here and totally understand that some people are going to hate these. (The textured walls are a reason I couldn't stay here permanently)

Someone really likes peaks (triangles) for windows and doors. Not a fan of this house.

It looks like it belongs in a forest in Germany. The palm trees outside are a little jarring.

Disappointed with the appliances and lack of a cauldron in the kitchen. LOL! I got mildly eery, creepy vibes the more I scrolled. Then, those dolls over the fireplace---eeek!

I LOVE the haunted cottage. I would just have to gut and redo the kitchen before I moved inn.

It gives off a U.K. old cottage vibe. The owners tried to incorporate Florida living and it just didn't work. I would hire a decorator if I couldn't do it myself and stay true to the architecture and the time period. The kitchen was a 70's kitchen and that doesn't make sense given the house. The citrus circles scream patio in a modern home.

I’m not terribly picky. I could live there. Now, I wouldn’t decorate to fully embrace the hobbit vibe.
And I agree some of the walls looked crusty.

No thanks. It doesn't give off a warm, inviting vibe to me. It gives off a grungy, dirty, unkempt vibe. I don't like all the vegetation outside - too much, I like some lawn.
