If you remember we listed our house for sale back in May. Sold that and have been in a short term rental. Went looking at houses on Sunday and found one we loved. Went back to look at it a second time on Tuesday and confirmed we loved it. Made an offer and it was accepted today! 28 day close.
It's in Lake Stevens, WA...not sure if we have any Peas in that area.

congrats!! my brother lives just over the line in snohomish (nearer to monroe).. so know the territory. we have a house for sale on whidbey on the water and no one is interested!!!

Yippee! for you. Congratulations! I have fond memories of playing with cousins at Lake Stevens in our Kayak and canoes. We'd grab a big bucket of chicken from the Colonel and spend all day getting the worst sunburns ever!

Great question...the size and location for sure. The neighborhood is very quiet. Has an amazing back yard. Room for my crafting space, guest rooms for our adult kids and for dh to work on restoring his old Mustang. Those were our top priorities. For sentimental reasons we loved that it was a Pulte home. Pulte built our first house we owned when we lived in Salt Lake City.

We were also looking in Snohomish and Monroe...just found the Lake Stevens house first.

I grew up in the Getchell area of Lake Stevens and the first house DH and I bought was also in Lake Stevens. It is a lovely place to live, but certainly much more populated and busier than when I was a kid! Congratulation on your new home. It is beautiful!

It's beautiful cmpeter. I can just picture those raised planting beds full of yummy gets and a croquet game set up in the yard. I love love your view over your back fence. So nice not to have a neighbor back there. Is this very far from where you currently are? |

It's an hour north of us. Luckily we both work from home.
Yes...it is a protected area. Our last house backed up to a forested area, but we were much closer...too close. We had multiples of those tall pines fall. We had two hit our house (one wiped out our greenhouse and a second took out a corner of the roof). So trees close, but not too close was a must too.
