Scrubbing the shower, because I don't have elbow grease and just cannot do it. I just bought an electric scrubber on Amazon because getting down in the tub or bending over doesn't work well for me. Hopefully, it will work well!

Putting things away. Laundry especially, and groceries after shopping. Left to my own devices I'd probably dress myself from the clean clothes that are in the basket after I emptied the dryer. Have you been spying on me?

Changing the sheets on the beds. The mattresses are heavy and I have to lift the corners of them to get the fitted sheets on properly. I do okay at the foot of the bed but struggle with the head because the nightstand are in the way and I either try to lift the mattress at a weird angle or go to the trouble of pulling the nightstands out and squeeze in behind them to get a better angle to lift the corners up enough.
I don’t mind any of the other cleaning chores. Not even scrubbing toilets, cleaning the cat boxes, and doing all the whole house dusting. I have great earphones and I always listen to a book or podcast while I clean. I get absorbed in the story and just go on autopilot with the cleaning.
I even have a book going via audible on my phone when I am doing yard work. I go through so many books and podcasts every week. I ended up buying a second pair of earphones just in case they run out of battery mid work day. I even listen to a podcast while in the shower with this little waterproof speaker that has a suction cup on the back. I just stick it to the glass shower doors and with the doors closed, the acoustics are great!

Cooking. I know lots of people like it, but it’s a chore to me….

What is this ironing you speak of?🤔

Toilets for the gross factor, and laundry just because it’s annoying.

Dusting and cooking are neck in neck.

I just don’t have the strength to really scrub anymore. I’d rather ( and I do ) do any other cleaning chore. Thanks for the idea.

Changing my bedding is now the bane of my existence ... especially the duvet cover! Yep, same here! Changing the doona cover is my most hated task. I usually just get DSO to do it. I would prefer to clean the toilets and scrub dirty dishes, than change the doona cover.

What is this ironing you speak of?🤔 I don't iron often enough to consider it a household chore. My most hated chore is floors. I don't mind sweeping/mopping nearly as much as I loathe vacuuming. Especially stairs.

I’d be interested in the review on the electric scrubbers for bathrooms. Dd was asking for one but I read a NYT article that said they weren’t all that great.

Number 1 is cleaning the bathrooms. The other one doesn’t even get done very often is washing windows.

Twice a year, I get on my knees and scrub the floor really good with a brush. It is a workout. Now that I’m older, it really takes a toll on my knees. I need to get knee pads.

100% cleaning toilets and the floor around the toilets. I absolutely hate that job.

My answer is:
D. All of the above
LOLOL!
Actually just keeping stuff picked up and not just laying it somewhere “to be put away later” is my housekeeping kryptonite!
I don’t mind the actual cleaning stuff part. It’s picking up after myself that’s the massive chore!

Sweeping/mopping. Cleaning windows. Cleaning bathrooms are a close second.

Dusting….it takes longer to take items off the surface and put them back again than the actual dusting of the surface. I'm with you. This is my least favorite part of cleaning.

I didn't spend a lot on it so if it sucks, it could be that it's a cheap model or they just don't really work. I'll be sure to post after I use it.

Taking the trash to the barn to the dumpster...
And scooping the litter box.
Hate doing either of those.

Cleaning the toilets and bathtub. Dh now cleans all the toilets weekly and I got a scrub brush that has an extendable arm to help in the tub. I have a dedicated broom I use for the bathtub and the shower scrubbing.

I hate cleaning the bathrooms! Also, vacuuming… I didn’t always mind doing it, but since getting a dog that sheds 24/7/365, it has started to feel like an exercise in futility!

What is the one thing you dread doing around the house? For me, there are actually 2: I hate unloading the dishwasher and the dryer. Both take minuscule amounts of time but I'll put it off and put it off until my sink is full of dishes and I'm grabbing clothes out of the dryer. I'd even take cleaning toilets over those two things! That’s so funny because I enjoy unloading both dryer and dishwasher…I loathe cleaning the bathrooms and wiping down countertops

putting away the clean laundry.
I make it as easy for myself as possible - I fold everything right out of the dryer, but man, I just hate putting it away.
