Hello Peas! Welcome to the October SheetLoad.Here in AZ we are still going strong with our summer. Hitting record highs of 110+ days and my only fall is the decoration in the house and the cards that I make. Tell me about your fall weather. I was just watching Alicia's video while I was posting my textured card  It's a perfect sketch for those little rows of gnomies! I adored them but those kind of border papers can be hard for me to use on cards. I'll check and see if I have anything similar to use for this month. |

I have pulled some 6x6 PPs with blue and orange, creamsicle card stock and a spool of blue ribbon, so I'll hit three challenges in one Saturday morning!

I didn't quite make a full set because I borrowed a piece from the 6th card to finish the 5th. I used one patterned paper per card instead of mixing them up. It suited the paper I used better. I'll try to do a proper set soon.  Oct share by jo.blackford, on Flickr |

I made a set with some Paige Evan’s Bungalow Lane (? older collection) 12x12 paper. I added a nice ombré b-side background paper, reduced the height of the piece with the strips to make the borders a little more even and left out the banner in the middle. I might make another set like this with the leftover paper and add a thin piece of patterned paper for the sentiment banner.  Oct Sheetload by jo.blackford, on Flickr |
