The balloon, cupcake, sentiment, and even the "patterned paper" that was die cut are all leftover cutaparts:

grammadee adorable, your animals make me smile. Double goodness with the dgs card. angel97701 ooo I like your background and how it complements and frames your elements. I especially like how it comes beyond the hearts but the hearts are empty inside - you must have done some kind of masking? justjac very cute, with the edge of the card base being a little different and all. Shakti so colorful - the diagonal cuts are very clever and add a lot of interest. scrapnnana thank you for the ephemera challenge! Your icy blue card background and your pretty embellishments look so good together. Elements found in my box of random things (labeled "die cuts").

I might've fudged the definition of "leftover" ephemera slightly, since I'm still working through this collection. But I think the little penguins would've become leftovers if I hadn't used them on this card because I struggle using small images. The background paper was certainly deep stash/leftover from projects long ago. And the grey/white piece is an offcut. Cluster Challenge by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Shakti Another multiple challenge card, WTG jjpeapea Yep, we should all dive into our left overs every-once-and-awhile. Lovely job! As for the inside of the hearts--they were all backed with die cuts the same size as the shaped heart front. The last purple heart was adhered to the inside. joblackford--You made a great card from something you wouldn't normally use. That is the name of the challenge game!

Shakti, very cute birthday card. I love the colors and bright designs. jjpeapea, I think your box of random things provided some really nice beach ephemera. It’s a perfect summery card. joblackford, my definition of “leftovers” includes collections which have been partly used for one or more past projects, so I don’t think you “fudged” at all. The penguins made me smile, and I’m glad you found a way to use them.

Challenge #18 of “Loving Leftovers” is to create either a spooky or fall themed embellishment and card, OR create a cluster and card that represents where you live (my second card). Can you tell that I had trouble making up my mind for this challenge? Besides, not everyone loves Halloween, and my stash has an over abundance of Halloween and fall cards.

Your cards are really cute, scrapnnana . You know my fav is that cowboy one. Where did you get that cute image?
I don't often make FALL cards, unless it is for birthdays during the season. And my overwhelmingly large stash of supplies is Christmas related. But I had my Home/Family bin out for a page kit last week, so I will look through there for something for this challenge. I LOVE house images--papers, dies, stamps, you name it--so I will pull some of that out to put together a card...

Thank you, grammadee. I’m delighted you liked my little cowboy card. I am a sucker for Western/cowboy themes, too. Here is the link to the file that I used:
Cute Cowboy Children clip artThe cute cowboy clip art was from Creative Fabrica. I have a yearly membership there. They have a LOT of Western themed files. I think I had to add cut lines in my Silhouette software, but you can also hand cut the designs. They print as a sticker sheet. Your house card is gorgeous. I love the torn papers, and the gold embossed “Home” in cursive, but I especially love the silver die cuts. It’s a beautiful card.

Everything was found in my left-over stash! Including the sentiment (which seemed fine now!) Sometimes it pays to keep things! The card base is new
From the looks of it the embossing folder was inked before pressure embossing white cardstock. The leaves are die cut from Fireworks! spritzed paper. The burlap is a roller stamp I've had for 30 years? The stamp is most likely Unity Stamp Company. It's fall and family (home)!

I’m not seeing any image. I have a similar problem seeing jjpeapea’s images when using my iPad, but I can usually see them if I use my laptop. I’m not seeing your image, although I can tell that you tried to post one. I post my photos first on my craft blog, then I can open just the photo and get the URL. Once I have that, I click on the tiny photo icon at the top right area of my new post here, and it will open a window that has a place for the image URL. That is the only way that I know how to post a photo. Some post their project photos here on the site, but eventually images have to be removed to make room for new ones. I hope that helps. Edited to add: I appreciate that you posted a link to your photo. That is a very cute shaker, and I love your cacti. Thank you!

grammadee, I like the mixed metallics, and how the silver house echoes the background paper. gramma glad you got out of your comfort zone to create such cute cards. They're so well done. angel97701 Such interesting fall elements, all combining so nicely. I especially like the background. And the leaf "seplatters"! nicoleq I LOVE a good shaker card and this one is a great shaker card. It is very special. scrapnnana Thank you for the Halloween/Fall cluster challenge. This isn't my fave of CARDtober but it does look nicer in natural light. The brads stole all the light with their shinyness.

Like grammadee, I wasn’t really planning to make fall/Halloween cards this year, and the where you live option didn’t spark me either. Then yesterday morning I learned my favorite kid will be with her dad for Halloween and that there’s a Halloween birthday in our social circle too. So a couple cards with clusters from last fall’s collection:

jjpeapea, your seaside cluster rocks! Your garden scene with all the leaves looks so much like my fall garden. Such cool penguins, joblackford! You always find the best images and use them so expertly on your cards! Got carried away loving your western scene, before, scrapnnana, but wanted to say that diagonal design and fresh colours make your Halloween card really cool. And, gramma, those Halloween characters are SUPER fun! Kudo's for leaping out of your comfort zone to give them homes on your cards! angel97701, that Blessing card is gorgeous. Love the colours, the textures, everything about it. Congrats on getting your fun western themed card to share with us, nicoleq! LOVE it! That inked sky is gorgeous and just the right background for the cactus scene. And shaker cards are always great fun. Fab-BOO-lous cards, Shakti! I love how you put the bright orange at the back and then the more muted images on top.

jjpeapea , I like the shiny leaf brads, and you made a great fall embellishment cluster. Shakti , these are really cute Halloween cards, and as Grammadee already pointed out, your clusters are “fa-boo-lous,” too. I really appreciate all who have participated in my challenges and shared their cards.

CARDtober #25 Challenge: use leftover papers to create a card with one large, main embellishment cluster, and a second, small/mini embellishment cluster. I used Queen & Co. dies and leftover papers for the Cookie Cluster and accent dies for the mini banner cluster. I hope you have fun with this challenge.

On the left is my double-cluster card. I struggled with the second cluster quite a lot and went through several ideas before landing on the sentiment ornament. I'm not entirely sure about it and may remake the sentiment cluster.... I did:

grammadee now THAT is some balanced and cute clusters - the repeated colors and shapes, the gold frame, how they extend over the frame. Shakti I struggled as well. Your ornaments look great! They look especially well against your background. scrapnnana Thank you for the cluster challenge. I loved your example - I love that everything fits the theme - such cute and happy little gingerbread men.
