LSU hosts Ole Miss this weekend. Heated rivalry going WAY back ~ Ole Miss is favored by 3.5 points. Can our defense contain their offense? We'll find out on Saturday.
Who does your team play?
GEAUX TIGERS!!

My JMU Dukes thumped Coastal Carolina last night, 39-7.
Auburn is on fall break, so they have a bye week.
UMD plays Northwestern tonight, hoping they can pull a win!

Hotty Toddy! We'll be watching with you cadoodlebug. Baton Rouge is a tough place to play, and there is always a big crowd when we play. My FIL will be joining us at our house to watch the game, and he is the funniest Ole Miss fan - he always doubts Ole Miss's abilities until they prove him wrong. Last year, when we were down by 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter, so he decided to beat the crowd and get on the road. I'll never forget hearing the cheers from the stadium twice while walking to the car as Ole Miss scored twice right at the end. Anything can happen when we play LSU, and it isn't over until its over! We're looking forward to a good game tomorrow.

Good luck everyone ! 💜

Hotty Toddy!!! Waving at cadoodlebug from across the field! This is one of those games with such a strong rivalry that I pretty much discount any of the predictions. It should be a good game though! I'll be watching the game at home. he is the funniest Ole Miss fan - he always doubts Ole Miss's abilities until they prove him wrong. I am the same way (I suspect I am in his age bracket). It comes from having many more years of being disappointed in outcomes of games!

**GypsyGirl**, it should be an electric night! First game that I expect a huge crowd. The UCLA game was so hot the people in the east-side bleachers left early because of the heat. There should be a law about not having day games until mid-October at the earliest.

**GypsyGirl** , it should be an electric night! First game that I expect a huge crowd. The UCLA game was so hot the people in the east-side bleachers left early because of the heat. There should be a law about not having day games until mid-October at the earliest. BFF was at that game and spent the whole second half in the medical room because she passed out. I heard over 400 people did as well. All for the sake of a morning televised game.

What a game between LSU & Ole Miss. As is typical it was a shoot-out until the finish. For some reason our defense actually showed up tonight bigtime and sacked the Ole Miss QB 6 times! Our QB had a rough start but threw 2 TD passes late, one to tie the game with 32 seconds left and one to win the game in OT.
Both teams played their hearts out and we were lucky to come out with a win.

Purdue lost, so DH is happy. Illinois was up by 21 at one point, and they managed to eke out a win by 1 point in OT.

Congratulations to the Tigers. See you in Oxford next year!

rymeswithpurple as a Purdue grad and local resident I wanted to cry after that game. It was a typical Purdue game. We were in SC so it wasn't on television down there. We went out to eat and my brother was keeping up with the score. We pulled it up on his phone and watched the horrible ending. It's unlikely we will win another game all year.

stormsts Sorry! It was a branch campus where DH didn't get a job and didn't get the full reimbursement for travel in January, so he's happy to see them lose.
