Eh…it won’t stop me but I’m also not buying it every day any way. I am a sucker for a dragonfruit refresher with lemonade in the summer so I’m sure be back.

I noticed that I receive less promotions than I did the year before. So scaling back again, is a turn off. I'll probably go less often. People do give me Starbucks gift cards from time to time, so I will go when I have those and if it is during a promotion, then great, if not, no big deal to me as I don't really think their coffee is all that great. wE have quite a few new drive up coffee places that I'm sure are cheaper that I have been meaning to try out, so this will be incentive to try them.

I quit my habit almost 3 years ago and make my own on the daily at home. I honestly don't miss it. I won't be going back except for on a very, very rare occasion.

I don’t drink coffee anyway so about the only time I go there is on my birthday (if I remember) to get a free hot chocolate. But my birthday is in the dead of winter, so most of the time it’s too much work to get in the car to go there so I already don’t. Plus now we have a super fancy coffee machine at home so I can make my hot chocolate right here without even getting out of my jammies.

I haven't been to a SB in almost 2 years. So this doesn't affect me.
They gave me a drink with coconut milk. 😶🙄

I love Dutch Bros. The team members are always friendly and I love how casual it is. The coffee is great, too. I don't live near a Dutch Bros, but it's a must-stop on road trips.

The one I go to for my once-a- year PSL is inside a Safeway, so not a drive up. There is a tiny seating area, but I don't use it. My aunt sends everyone in my family a $5 Starbucks gift card for their birthday, so that usually covers most of the cost, and I don't even look for specials or coupons. I can walk to Dutch Bros from my house, weirdly enough I never order coffee there and usually get a lemonade or fruity cold drink with my exercise

I have just stopped buying fancy coffee unless someone has given me a gift card. It is too easy to make good coffee at home with all the fancy machines and creamers and such nowadays. Saves me time in the morning as well. Stopping at Starbucks adds 15-20 minutes. Interesting that they think reducing rewards will get people to come back. Frankly I think they priced themselves out of the market. The prices just keep going up and they already reduced the star purchasing power. I wonder if that is when they noticed the drop off. That was what stopped me from my Friday runs.

I only go when I have a gift card so I’ll go the same amount, which is maybe 4 times a year?

Eh…it won’t stop me but I’m also not buying it every day any way. I am a sucker for a dragonfruit refresher with lemonade in the summer so I’m sure be back. I like their dragonfruit mango drink. But, I am not a regular Starbucks customer. If I am thirsty, and they happen to be right there in front of me, I'll get a dragonfruit drink or an iced tea. I don't drink fancy coffee drinks. I like plain black coffee, and their coffee always taste burnt. So, what I am trying to say is that I don't care about their bonus points and promotions. Interesting that Dutch Bros is in the polling. Dutch Bros is just starting to expand here in the area. I haven't tried it yet. We have a local coffee shop, that is now expanding to areas outside of San Diego county, that I like. It is called Better Buzz.

I don't drink coffee, and dh hates their coffee. I bet I can count on one hand how many times I've been in a Starbucks. So, I won't be affected.

I only go occasionally.. mostly when I am traveling and I can count on starbucks quality. so this doesn't change anything for me. I make coffee at home when I am home.

DIL I live with has worked there for 22 years, she keeps me supplied with beans, I make fabulous French press decaf, salted, steamed soy every morning and it’s divine.
When I’m out and about, or on a road trip, I’ll treat myself, so those stars don’t add up very fast.

My eldest dd (age 25), worked for Starbucks from the age of 17 until 24 ... It was a great job and her store was sooooo busy ... it appears that many people will be taking thier precious SB's to the grave! Starbucks enabled her to earn enough money for the last two years of university! She's a teacher now so no longer works there but I still sometimes pop in for my unsweetened tea fix ... I love it and you can't get unsweetened here in Canada.

I've never been to Starbucks and they don't sell anything I'd drink, so that's not going to change.

I’ve never been a big Starbucks user.
They gave my dd with a dairy allergy regular milk rather than soy so she never goes. My youngest is too cheap and dd 2 is a teacher so when she’s gifted a gc she goes. She too has a local shop by her school so she chooses that mostly.
I have 2 different local coffee shops near me and I go there instead.

I used to go to SB every day, sometimes twice. We used to bring our kids there for special things like birthdays or Christmas Eve. Their policies and quality started diving a long time ago, so we gave it up. The only exception is when we visit Disney World because I do not care for Joffrey's coffee, so I'll get a small latte to hold me off in the parks.
I do homemade or Dutch Bros. Honestly, if you've never had a Dutch Bros, you should give it a try. As was mentioned, they are always friendly. They also have an app to get points, you get a free drink on your birthday, and they just added the ability to order ahead and pick up. OH! And they have stickers. Winning all around.

DH loves coffee and Starbucks is the most convenient option for an espresso based drink where we live. Playing the "game" for stars was his hobby for a long time. He now has a very pricey commercial grade Italian machine at home and far prefers his own creations.
We do stop at Starbucks when traveling if we can't find a local shop.

It won’t change our habits. My husband goes almost daily, I go once in a while. I recently started making my own cold brew at home and like the convenience of that. My husband doesn’t get to into the stars thing but starbucks is linked to his delta SkyMiles account so he gets miles either way (until that program changes).

I chose the "I already don't go there" option, although I do go occasionally. But the only reason I ever go there is when I have a gift card which I get sometimes from teachers at school (I'm a good sub, and they appreciate me, lol), or kids at Christmas. But I never go unless I have those gift cards. I don't drink coffee anymore, so I might use the GCs on tea and egg bites, or something like that.

I cut back several years ago when they started downgrading the perks. The only time I stop now is if I am at Target. I like having a coffee while I shop. Plus I can pay with my Circle debit card and get a 5% discount.

I voted "I already don't go there" and "Oprah" because I think I've been to Starbucks few enough times to count on one hand, so that's technically more than never. And only one of those times was I buying anything for myself--I wanted a baked good while at a Turnpike rest stop and they were my best option. Otherwise, I've stopped gone through the drive-thru once for my mom, and brought one of my kids for a cocoa once, and I think that might be it.

I only go to Starbucks once in a while - so I don't pay much attention to my star rewards. I'm not a fan of their regular coffee, just the fun stuff lol. But way too much sugar for me these days so it isn't my go-to for a coffee. I do love that I can customize a drink on the app and order it that way for pick up, instead of standing there stammering about what I need.
Every week I'm at a local coffee shop for my women's networking group and usually just have a regular coffee. But they do some amazing lattes as well so I'll treat myself once in a while for those.

I hardly go, but if I want a chai latte and that’s the coffee place I’m near, I’ll go. Price doesn’t matter, within reason.

I think Starbucks coffee tastes disgusting. I drink my coffee black (and I loooooooove coffee) and it seems to me that Starbucks coffee tastes so gross because they are counting on customers to screw it up with cream/sugar/flavor, etc.
I stop into a local chain about once a week to read a book in the afternoon and have a cup of coffee.
