My son's icon on the app has had a small lightening bolt next to his icon off and on the last couple of days. Does anyone know what that means? I do not have the paid subscription.

Mine shows a lightning bolt over a battery symbol when our phones are plugged in and charging. Is it that or something different? I'm looking at my app now and my husband has a battery/lightning bolt next to his icon.

My son's has shown a weird symbol once in a while lately--I think it's similar to a lightning bolt, but I don't remember exactly. I figured it had to do with him traveling through poor service areas on his way to Denver because I hadn't seen it while he was on campus. I know it didn't have anything to do with his battery because either while I was looking at it or the next time I looked it was gone, and I was pretty sure he didn't get to a low battery during that time frame.
I do get a chuckle out of the race car symbol that shows up once in a while when he's in a vehicle going over 80mph!

If it shows the bolt in a green looking battery it’s when they are charging their phones. By their name it should show a % not on the car or shoe part but below. I think this is what you are describing.
