There have been a lot of videos floating around highlighting Trump’s recent, and seemingly rapid, cognitive decline. Also rumors about his health. Have you seen the videos about his stomach/flatulence issues? If he had to drop out, with just 3 weeks to go, is Vance automatically the presidential candidate? Or, will they keep Trump propped up until Nov 5th, and if he wins, then will he be pushed aside? I mean, health wise, he is not looking good. P

Trump will never willingly give up power or the chance of power. I think he'll lose, but if he wins then I imagine the Republicans will either let him stumble on as a puppet president, or they'll 25th amendment him and we get Vance. I think the latter is unlikely as the RNC and its purse strings are basically controlled by the Trump family now.

Trump won't go willingly, but I wouldn't be surprised if Vance and the Project 2025 people have a coup planned against him once he is inaugurated. He is a useful idiot for them up until that point.
The stranglehold the family has on the RNC will be irrelevant. Jr., Lara, Eric, etc., only have positions of power because they are family. Once Trump is dumped, so are all of them.
FWIW, I don't believe for a second the GOP is going to win the election.

If not it was something to do to P2025 he wrote. He wrote the forward to a Heritage Foundation book - By Dawns early light or something like that. |

He won’t drop out but if elected he will be 25 th amendment. Vance is a total puppet for Theil and also project 25. I would say it would be nice to not hear from the trumps at that point I think most would be thinking about WTH with project 25. I know there are supposed to be safeguards but I think some have been removed or accounted for. I think this would be more an imminent problem than the trumps. I really hope we never have to find out.

So the Republicans are claiming that Harris and the Democrats knew a long time ago that Biden was not mentally capable of running the country, and it was a cover up that needs to be investigated. Well, can’t the Democrats claim the same about Trump/Vance if Trump wins? It was all a fraud?! His people know he is not well.

One of the reason the Haitians went to Ohio was because of a labor shortage. So Trump wants to revoke their special visa, send them back, and then what? There will once again be a labor shortage and factories will close or move, and Springfield will become a dying town once again. He wants to deport millions, yet bring back factories when we have low unemployment. Who will work those jobs? |

He is hoping to stay out of prison, which might be why he has been so pissy lately. I suspect that he really has no desire to be President again.
The other thing is that I would be really surprised if a lot of his fans-other than the ones who have been walking out of his rallies-are aware that he is acting strangely. I have been amazed several times at stuff that they have not heard about him.

I have a friend and I have heard her say several times that someone must be undocumented because they speak Spanish. I gently remind her no you have no idea. I think his followers have just heard this negative hateful dehumanizing rhetoric and just don’t think of them as being equal. They have heard it so many times for so many years that I think they are just indoctrinated. I think many can be brought around as they weren’t raised this way. There are many good people that are republicans. There are many that don’t listen to TFG but just vote for the person with a R next to their name because that’s all they have ever done. They need to get away from this kind of talk though. The hospitals and schools are not totally overrun. Violence is not running rampant on our streets. I don’t know how they can believe this when all they have to do is open their eyes. Hispanics make up 40% of our population. We live in Southern California there have always been people that speak Spanish here. It’s an every day thing. I know I don’t think anything if it. Many are bilingual something I’m not I have tried. I don’t know how we move past this but I sure hope we do and soon this is just so dangerous. We can’t deport a quarter of our population like Vance would like that’s just crazy. |

We might see a power struggle, but the Federalist Society has played a very long game here and are not going to let the opportunity go. Even the SC is FS loyal over Trump loyal.
