I need to get some shoes for my daughter’s wedding. I mostly wear running shoes with orthotics due to foot pain.
Any recommendations for nice shoes to wear with a tea length dress? Ideas for styles or brands are welcome.
I want to look nice for photos but don’t want to be sidelined by pain.

I usually wear sneakers with orthotics- I found a pair of Naot dress shoes that my feet can tolerate. I have a very narrow foot so I also looked at SAS shoes. This company has upped its game.

I'd search for a foot/shoe store that does orthotic fittings and start there. We have 2 different stores in our area. My SIL and I took our MIL there to look for dress shoes. The employees were so helpful and I was surprised at all the different brands and styles of shoes they carried in stock.

I'm not a fashionista any way, shape, or form. And I have PF. When shopping for "fancy shoes" I usually look at Naturalizer or OrthoFeet, or Clarks. Something with a lowish chunky heal. I wore these to a wedding and they were OK. The last two weddings I went to were country themed and I wore my comfy cowboy boots!

I have a friend who swears by ballroom dance shoes - she ordered them from Amazon for her daughters wedding and said they were the most comfortable dress shoe she has ever worn. She typically only wears sneakers and is 70+ years old.

I order a bunch from Zappo's and keep trying until something looks and feels right.

Whatever you get, have a pair of flats that you know you can walk/dance in for later on after the ceremony and photos. It's perfectly fine to change into comfortable shoes to enjoy the day. I would also vote for Clarks or Orthofeet (though the latter really doesn't have any dress shoes).

Can you wear a heel? What about a Mary Jane style with a block heel? Or a slip on fancy mule with a low heel?
I would also bring a pair of flip flops or something comfortable to change into for dancing/the end of the evening

Look into Vionic. I have serious issues with my feet, and I can do most of their dress shoes.
