Computer savvy? Help with password troubles...

Lately if I've tried to log into my hotmail account (yes, I still use hotmail - I have so much go to it it would be hard to change) I get:


Sign-in is blocked

You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account or password.

Sign-in with is blocked  of these reasons:

Someone entered the wrong password too many times.

I've not messed up my password.

Is it that someone else has been trying over & over -maybe a scammer?
