Turns out I’m a soft autumn. Many of the colors suggested for clothing are those I’ve been intuitively choosing most of my life, but some of my favorites (like black) are not in the warm autumn palette. Not sure I can give up my black!
However, I may switch from black mascara to brown (as suggested) and see how that goes, and I need to find a peachy pink blush. I’ve seen pictures of people with their right color and with the wrong one, and it made a big difference so I’m going to try to stick with clothes in the correct palette.
Have you done this? What season are you?

I’m supposed to be a winter and I basically only wear black, gray, and deep blue, with the occasional bright red or bright pink. I definitely look pale and washed out in light colors, and while I love fall oranges and olives and mustards, those all make me look green.

This is me too. I'm a winter for sure just not sure if I'm a deep, true or soft winter. Brighter colors (especially kelly green), black, white look great on me but pale colors, softer grey I just look sickly. I love the idea of olive greens, taupes, blush pink and burnt orange but they just don't do anything. It's a bit hard shopping small business when a lot of them cater towards neutrals (lots of beige, taupe, soft browns and pinks) and I'm tired of trying to find stores that have other colors.

I am also soft autumn. I don't usually wear black, but choose warm charcoal greys or soft browns instead.
What I dislike about my coloring is that a lot of the colors that look best on me tend to make me think of colors favored by the elderly, while bold and vibrant colors I associate with youth actually make me look like a corpse. But it is what it is.

I’m an autumn, but not sure if I’m soft, deep or whatever, I would guess soft. I look good in that collegiate gold color, warm browns and warm greens, with my hazel eyes and gazillion freckles. Doesn’t soft just mean your hair and features are low contrast? .

Unlike my Audrey Hepburn avatar, my eyes are golden brown, skin is light with golden undertones, and hair is golden blonde. Not a lot of contrast there. But I’m not giving up my black clothes!

I don't know what I'm "supposed" to be but I definitely look best in autumn colors, especially olive green, gold, orange. I tend to wear more black. I wear whatever I like and make my makeup save nails coordinate, but my eyes are army green and brown and that tends to be most flattering.

I am a True Autumn.
I went with two of my sisters last spring and had an in-person consultation with a TCI analyst. (I knew going in I was one of the warm ones but wasn’t sure if I was maybe a soft autumn or one of the springs.) I had conflicting results from online methods, and I also didn't trust a virtual consultation.
It was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. I was needing to replace my entire wardrobe due to my weight loss, and I wanted to start out right and not waste money along the way.

Doesn’t soft just mean your hair and features are low contrast? That is one reason I thought I was maybe a Soft Autumn, but that is not the case. I’m very low contrast, but a True Autumn.

My best colors are peachy pinks and lavenders, and those look like old lady in the nursing home to me.

I'm a summer. I'm also not supposed to wear black but oh well. It may overpower me a bit, but it's not terrible. The oranges are what really make me look terrible. Anything too warm, just makes me look awful.

Back in the day, I thought I was a winter, but my MIL always said that I was a warm summer. She was right, according to an online quiz, I'm a soft summer.

I'm not quite sure. I think I look best in jewel tones but haven't really figured out my undertone for jewelry. My hair is more warm (natural redhead with gold and copper), blue eyes and fair skin with some redness in my face. For makeup, particularly eyeshadow, many colors that look neutral turn orange on me. But truly cool palettes often don't work, either.

peasapie if you're looking for a pinky peach blush, the Nars Orgasm (777) blush might fit the bill. I LOVE this color and I'm on my third refill. Nars Orgasm Blush

I had the 4-color analysis done a million years ago and they said autumn. With the updated systems, I think I'm a warm autumn, but I can't really tell for sure. I'm kind of neutral in a lot of ways, and it does seem like the colors I get complimented on cross some of the lines. I've seen dark autumn listed, which is possible, but my hair is lightening with age, so that might not be the case any more anyway. I go through periods of wanting to have this done professionally and then realizing that it doesn't really matter as I'm just going to wear whatever anyway.

I've been looking at photos (mostly AI) of the same picture of a person with different seasonal shades and it's incredible to see how much of a difference hair, makeup and clothing colors can make in overall appearance.

I’m definitely winter - all the jewel tones for me, along with silver jewellery. I still wear deep and/or pure tones of blue, green, pink, purple etc (and black), coming up to my 71st birthday though I do stick to solids teamed with black these days, rather than the patterns I used to wear a lot. No pastels for me! I have a bright pure white, orange and yellow jacket that I always get complimented on, but I don’t wear it much because it sooo bright and distinctive.

Honestly, the best part of it for me was watching my sisters get draped. I really struggled to see it on myself, but it’s a million times easier to see it on someone else.

Anything too warm, just makes me look awful. Same. I am quite pale, always have been. I have to wear blush or people think that I’m sick. I am a Summer, with neutral skin undertone, so I can wear peachy pink blush as well as pink blush. I avoid Orange, yellow, and army green, because they make me look ill. Other than that, I tend to wear blues, pinks, red. I also wear some black, because I like it. But more often gray than black. I don’t stick to Summer colors.

So is there a free way to figure this out? Like which colors go with which "seasons". I've seen videos of people draping different colors around them but nothing defining the colors/seasons.

I am a winter but usually wear summer colours. My best colour is blood red. It does look very good. I wear a lot of summer pinks and blue. I do wear black but not that often.

I had my colors done a million years ago. This is back when it was just the four options. I was declared a summer. But I'm able to wear black and it's always flattering to my skin. I typically wash out on the lighter colors. Now looking at the options, I think I'm a cool summer.

I’m a soft summer with soft autumn as my sister season. I was told I was right on the line and could really pick from either season. I'm not supposed to wear black either but my travel wardrobe is basically all black and I'm not changing it. As I buy new things for it I'm trying to go more with navy. I know it looks better but I like my black clothes. Not getting rid of any of them. I was very surprised by my results as was the lady who did it. We both thought I would be an autumn. Honestly, I don’t love the softer colors but I guess they look better on me.
