Two years ago, I was really sick with pancreatitis and gallbladder issues, etc. I lost a lot of hair (I have a head full of thick hair, so I was really the only one that noticed it) my hairdresser suggested this really great shampoo and conditioner from Surface that truly helped regrow my hair.
Since then it’s grown back a little thicker and very curly. I used to need a perm I don’t anymore. So I’m looking for a really good detangler to use after I wash my hair. I use some of the suggestions posted here about curly hair and what to dry with etc. etc., and that has worked.
I don’t know if it’s the hair gel that I’m using that’s not washing out very well or what but I’m having a really hard time detangling some of my hair even using a really wide tooth comb. Any suggestions would be very welcomed and at this point, I don’t care what it costs.
If anybody has a suggestion on a really good hair gel, I’ll take that too

There are 2 things that I swear by and I interchange them. One is WOW Dreamcoat and the other is It's a 10 w/Keratin. Both have made a huge difference. WOW is pricey, but very worth it. I found It's a 10 is cheapest at TJMAXX.
I'm old enough that I should have a head full of gray hair, but I don't.

I use the Arvazallia Hydrating Hair Mask 1-2x per week to help with hydration and tangles.
I also use the Living Proof leave in conditioner, which seems to help with tangles and breakage.

Have you had a trim recently? I have long hair and if the ends are dry and split they will tangle a lot. I also use the TJs hair serum. But I have straight hair so YMMV.

I’ve been using Not Your Mother’s 10-in-1 All Eyes on Me Hair Perfector for years. For a drug store brand at lower drug store price, it’s great for my hair.
At a little higher price point, I can recommend Pureology Color Fanatic -21 Essential Benefits.

For detangling, I use Knot Today Leave In Conditioner. I think it's about $13. Target sells it.
