My daughter's baby shower is this weekend, it's Halloween themed, and I am trying to make these: But the hot glue will NOT hold when I try to glue the pacifiers on. I am using fake pumpkins rather than real. I cut the nipple part off. But they will not stick. Any ideas?

E6000 should work. How cute are they?

Alene's Tacky Glue, tape them in place for a little bit while setting. Or find a way to have the pumpkins lie on their back while the glue sets, like nestled in a towel on the counter. Use the "Fast Grab" one if you can find it, but if not, the regular one will work just fine.
ETA you can try E6000 as mentioned above but sometimes it melts soft plastic surfaces (like a fake pumpkin) instead of bonding, which is why I'd choose the Tacky Glue. You really don't know until you try but for this type of material I go for the white glue type.

If all else fails, you can use straight pins pushed in on an angle to hold better.

E6000 but if you can 'rough up' the area you are glueing, it might hold better. With the pumpkin being plastic + plastic pacifiers, you probably need something with some 'tooth' to help the glue work.

Clean with rubbing alcohol to rid any left over oil from the manufacturing process.
