I have Amazon prime I went to place an order today my shipping said November 5 delivery That's almost two weeks away.
I live in Hawaii but I've never had that long a shipping time. It usually comes in a few days.
Is this happening to you, a change in shipping times? I placed an order last week and it came in 3 or 4 days.

It depends who is doing the shipping and where the item is coming from. I've had that happen and it is usually when the item is being shipped by the seller. It could also be a low stock item that Amazon doesn't carry as regular stock so it is not in one of their warehouses.

Yes, I have to remind myself to pay close attention, especially when holiday shopping, because some things are being shipped from outside the country and take far longer to arrive.

Amazon sells a ton of stuff from third party sellers and they don’t necessarily follow Amazon’s 2-3 day delivery goal. My kid runs into this a lot with the stuff she looks at on Amazon, especially if it’s something coming from overseas that isn’t stocked in a U.S. warehouse. She was looking for a particular item of clothing to wear for Halloween and a lot of the things that came up in her search had to be ruled out because the anticipated arrival date was around November 5, which obviously wouldn’t work.
On the other hand, we have a friend from the lake cabin staying with us for a few weeks and she ordered a new iPad case. If it was going to the lake cabin it wouldn’t arrive until Saturday. But when she changed the delivery address to our house in the city, the date changed to Friday so where you are having it shipped to matters too.

I have been seeing lots of Amazon Prime shipping complaints on Reddit. I have been tricked with extended shipping times once or twice. I suspect it might also have to do with not only the seller but where the logistics warehouse is located for each item.
