I searched and couldn't find a thread for the October Kindle First Reads, but I'm not sure the search feature is working properly. Anyway, for October you get to choose TWO books, and I wanted to make sure no one misses it. I selected Pike Island and Grave Talk. Here is the link for the US Kindle First Reads. I don't know where to find the others, so if anyone else wants to check in with a link, that would be nice. |

I didn't love the selection this time, but chose Drop Dead Sisters and Grave Talk.

I picked when we were widows and grave talk.... i wasnt super excited about the choices this month...
I did read when we were widows... it was sooo good... it made me cry more then once....i am mexican so it made me think a lot about my own family... my dad n uncle both passed away years ago.... my mom and aunt have never dated anyone else... they choose to be single... i love my husband but i dong know if i would do the same.... i really enjoyed this book...
I haven't started grave talk yet...

I also chose When We Were Widows and Grave Talk. I haven't read the Widows one yet. Grave Talk was okay. It started out good and I liked the premise but man, did it drag on.
