I would kill for a spice drawer! That one looks really good (although I would need two of them for my ridiculous amount of spices). It's a good price too.

I feel like I read someone complain about that style because when they closed their drawer, the spices shifted and got out of place. But, it seems like the next row up would stop that from happening.
I would LOVE to get them out of a cabinet.

I had one large spice drawer (I think it was either 30 or 36" across) just like in that image in my kitchen 2 homes ago. I loved it and wish I had the drawer space to do it again. Definitely preferred it over in the cabinet.

I have ones similar to these located in a skinny/long drawer. I use four of them "hooked" together and they are full of spice jars. The inserts shift a little when the drawer is opened/closed, but because they fit into the drawer with only a little wiggle room on the sides (width) and they fit fully into the drawer depth, they stay in place enough that it's not noticeable unless I was *really* looking. I would buy them again.

My only reservation on a spice drawer is all spice jars need to be the same size for it to work IME. I love the way it looks but am not brand loyal or consistent to buying everything the same size.

Yes…mine too. But, I’m ready to invest in matching jars.

I have this for my spices and love it so much that I did the same thing with all of my sprinkles, too.
I do decant all of them into matching jars. Mine do not shift, but if they did I would probably just add a clear, rubberized liner underneath the jars.
It sparks joy for me. 🥰

I have a spice drawer and enough spices that I don't need any kind of organizer. I have slowly transitioned to square jars (I really like the Trader Joes ones) which don't move around as much.
Although mine fill the drawer there's enough room to grab a bottle. I also have a variety of sizes, brand and even types of containers ( I have a few tiny ones). But I don't need it to be picture perfect just functional.
I'd say use the drawer with out the organizer first and see if you really need/want it.
When we moved I purged a lot before the move and then vowed to not buy anything new until we had lived in the house for a while unless it was absolutely needed. This really helped cut down on the clutter. It has been 13 yrs since we moved. I did a big purge during the pandemic but I really need to do it again.

I have a spice drawer. My bottles don't roll around because they are square shaped. I got the bottles on Amazon. It's easy enough to transfer your current spices into those bottles.

I have that sort of spice jar holder in my spice drawer and it works really well. I certainly don’t have matching or same-sized spice jars - they are a mix of sizes and shapes and some are actually in square cardboard packets. I guess you could have all matching jars if that matters to you, but I don’t want to spend money to make everything in a closed drawer match. I keep mine in alphabetical order so I can just grab the ones I’m looking for.

I would love to have a spice drawer. My kitchen is very small and I have two handle baskets with spices A-M in one and N-Z in the other. I keep garlic and onion powder by my stove as I use them a lot but I'm running out of space.
