Some of you remember that my only goal was to raise my babies to not be teen parents. The last few years, I've not said a word about babies, but I've been kind of wondering if they had decided not to get married either 😆 This week, our oldest had friends in town visiting and planned for months to make sure he proposed while her best friend was in town. He has had the ring for almost a year and wanted it to be right. He planned a few proposal ideas, and they were foiled, so he made a trail and set a little mood by the pool and popped the question. Eek!!! No wedding plans yet, im being patient, but after all these years finally I get a girl in the family! Seriously, I adore her so much and am thrilled to have her as an official part of the family. She's precious, and they're so sweet to each other. Everyone is so thrilled for them! No plans just yet, but they both said they might just go to the courthouse and then have a party afterwards. Whatever they do will be perfect, I hope they do whatever they please.
I hung up the chat with them and immediately said 'I know it's not about me, but I kind of feel like I should have a party of some sort to celebrate my daughter dreams finally coming true."
Im totally kidding and would never. I am, however super excited that they're together, she is already part of the family and we love her so very much.

Congratulations mother-in-law to be. I understand your feelings on this. Both my sons got engaged in the last couple of months! The oldest is getting married in April next year, while the youngest won't get married for another year or two. It's so nice to finally have other females in the family (though I do have three female cats).
