I’ve mentioned here before about my friend Kasi Peek, who was murdered by her husband (who was also later charged with his first wife’s murder). We went to church together & were in a weekly Bible study group. I saw it on the news the morning she was found & I called the church to let them know because they hadn’t heard.
Tonight’s Dateline is about her murder.
It just surreal when you see someone you know on a show like this.

I have been watching and just came on here during a commercial. I saw your post and just gasped. I am sorry I only vaguely remember your previous post. But I am so so sorry for the horrible situation and pain that this must have caused everyone and it makes me so sorry about the senseless tragic murders. Again I am so sorry for what happened to your friend.

I'm so sorry about your friend.
Someone I knew from childhood was murdered by her husband and the story was also on Dateline. Absolutely devastating for her family and community.

I watched that since it was local. I didn't recall it from when the crime was committed though. What a horrible man... a true wolf in sheep's clothing.
It makes you wonder if there are any other victims in his past.

I watched last night. I won't give any spoilers, but for anyone looking for it later it is called "Deadly Omission", and yes, it must be strange to know the person in the story.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. I watched Dateline last night - he was a horrible man and a horrible husband. I'm so sorry she got involved with him.

She was found in her bed. He called 911 and he found her in bed. He had gotten a call 10 min earlier from someone who had found her purse in an apartment complex parking lot.

I finally found it last night and had time to watch it Oh my goodness. Her husband was horrible! While I had heard of the case, I didn't realize there were other cases he was a suspect in.

Oh I'm so sorry... I can't imagine turning on Dateline (or similar) and actually knowing the person on there. How tragic. I am going to find it hopefully and watch it.

I'm so very sorry.  Just tragic. My old landlords died in a m*rd3r and death by su!c!de. (The husband unalived the wife.) I knew them both but talked to her a lot more. Beyond horrifying when you know people. I'm glad Dateline picked this up. Lisa |

I am very sorry for your loss. It becomes almost surreal when you see it play out in the media. When NXIVM became a national thing it was something I had known about for years. Not just because they were covered a lot in my local news but because my best friend, her aunt and my cousin all lived in that townhome community and we saw them every day. Two of the major players were my cousin's high school friend and her mother and lived next store to my work mentor. So much we knew and so much we didn't.
