Mark Cuban began this as a more transparent place to purchase Rx. He says he marks everything up 15% to cover the cost of doing business. He began it because the drug companies in the US are not willing to post prices and the customers don't know and can't comparison shop.
I just looked up the only Rx I take and it is a few dollars cheaper than what I pay with my insurance picking up the rest of the cost.

Rx Flonase is .44 more than what we pay with insurance ($10).
Levocarnitine is $19.38 for 1 bottle. We pay $35 for 7 bottles. With Cost Plus we would spend $135.66. It is also the wrong formulation.
$11.04 for dd's BCP. $0 with our insurance.
$15.20 for one of dh's meds. $5 with our insurance.
$11.60 for my antibiotic I take to pre med before procedures (like dental work). .98 with our insurance.
Not worth it for us.
