They all look great.
Although spiders are not my friends, the first house has done them really well. I am itching here, though.

I hate the spiders but it's cool, I admit! I have skeletons climbing up my house and in the bushes, though some of them are pirates (lol, I ordered plain ones but they came in pirate outfits and DH put them up like that because he "didn't want to question your vision" 🤣🤣 )
Anyway... THOSE PUMPKINS AND MUMS THOUGH! My fall-loving Mom Heart is DYING, it's PERFECTION
I can't imagine the bill for that. Wonder how they will dispose of them all? I have a long wild hill behind my house where animals play but I'd still be hard pressed to come up for room for all of those once they start rotting. And next year there would be 80,000 pumpkin vines sprouting.

what neighborhood? looks like pacific heights or marina..
our neighborhood had dense drippy fog all day...
there is a big business here putting up house decorations and taking them down..

ntsf the first one is pac heights but the next ones are all Presidio Terrace. And honestly some of them did all start to look the same - we were joking about the conversations that must have been had: “Well Bob and Mary next door are doing skeletons so this year we have to do witches…”

I don’t even want to think about how much all those pumpkins cost in that pic with the pumpkins lining the walk all the way down, 3-4 pumpkins deep on each side. 🤑
We went to the little pumpkin farm in our neighborhood today and I’m pretty sure between the four pumpkins, six pie pumpkins and maybe 6-8 assorted squash, DH dropped around $60-70! 😳

those houses are seriously expensive... so the owners have plenty of money to decorate. and in SF, halloween is the one holiday everyone gets behind.. like major street parties, block parties, and in the old days everyone dressed up to go to work in their costumes.

Living in San Francisco in my twenties, I loved Halloween. San Francisco goes all in.
Great decorations! I love them all.

The spider was is cool, yet it creeps me out, especially the one spider that is almost tick-like in appearance. I got a kick out of the one with the skeleton hoard trying to break in. I love the floating hats & pumpkin lined walk of the 2nd one, though I would skip the spiderweb, as I've heard it can be detrimental to wildlife. I really love the 3rd one with all of the pumpkins & gourds. I figure it would cost me $600 plus to replicate it, though, unless I worked out some sort of bulk deal with a local farmer, so I'll just admire theirs! Thanks for sharing these--it was so fun to see them.

OMG what a unique and gorgeous neighborhood. Nothing like my part of Texas. I’ve been all over USA, but never to SF area. What an area to be able to walk around daily. 😊

so if you want to move to those neighborhoods, bring $5-20 million and you will be ready to buy!!
I live on the other side of town near a neighborhood of big grand houses.. they get hundreds of kids treat or treating.. and there are some serious decorations going on. 5 blocks away, where I live.. on a hill, we get no one. though a few kids have moved in recently.

How fun. TFS! I can only imagine the cost, but the neighbors and people driving by must love it. A really nice thing to do in these stressful times we're living in.

Wow those pumpkins and mums! We have none of that here. The mums would freeze. The pumpkins would turn to mush.

A few more my friend took - Even the houses under construction went all out! I wore my orange top to coordinate with the season haha We ended up in the inner Richmond waiting in a HUGE line for the world’s best croissants. This mail carrier dog was our buddy for the 45 min wait:

Holy cow! Those are awesome!
I live in one of Seattle's oldest neighborhoods with gorgeous old houses, but the decorations du jour seems to be 12" skeletons. They're fine, but kinda boring IMO.
I hate spiders IRL, but love them on the house. And all those pumpkins! Is this a gated community? Or somewhere with private security making the rounds? If any of my neighbors did a walkway of pumpkins I'd think they might disappear overnight, KWIM?
Now I'm inspired to go take some pics around my neighborhood in the next few days, thanks!

not gated communities. there is one small street nearby that has a security guard (private street).. where feinstein used to live. this is all not that far from Pelosi's house, where her husband was attacked. we don't have gated communities. everything is too old..no one did that around here
