I get it, I really do. You have such a lot on your plate, I can understand why you need this place to give you some light relief. I had been thinking about doing the same thing, just because I want to protect myself from what is happening in your country. I hope you can reach out every now and then, I'll miss seeing you around. I get it. I uninstalled my twitter app. I don't visit this side of the board often. I'm very worried about my almost adult son as well. I hope your able to get things figured out.

I hear you. Iāve been contemplating the same thing. I wish there was a way to block every thread that started with the tag politics Click on the box to the left of the thread title go to Actions click on Mark as Read then the arrow to the side, choose forever
I do this for any threads I don't have an interest in, then I only pay attention to threads that say new on the posts. That's the closest thing I have found.

I get it too. The world is heavy now. I am interested in the political threads still, but can already see that going away if the peas are going to just continue arguing with the Trump loving lunatics.
You need to do what is best for you, but I hope things go well for you and you check in from time to time.

No hair flip. š Just taking an indefinite break from the peas. Not sure when I will be back or if I come back (that hasn't been decided yet). This space has become heavy in an already overwhelming life with needing to get ds into programs and services now that he is an adult. I need happy and easy going. Not posts that trigger fear or anxiety (and unfortunately titles are doing that lately). My thoughts are with you all as we await what may happen in January. But I agree thereās way too many political threads on here and I get it but thereās no way to block them unless you block every single person that starts one which I might do because Iām tired of looking at the topics. |
