This is the perfect example why people think Trump is better for the economy than Kamala.
Campaign Spending: Trump raised $381.54 million Trump spent $345.42 million $10.4 million was spent on staff
Kamala raised $1.003 billion Kamala spent $1.37 billion Kamala spent $582.53 million on staff

You’re telling me that the guy who’s notorious for not paying people who worked for him and also being against overtime had a lower payroll? I wonder why…
ETA: In case my sarcasm was too subtle for you (which wouldn’t surprise me, because the real reason I think people voted for Trump is because they’re dumb), this is not the flex you think it is.

Meh.
I don’t think most people who voted for Trump give two shits about campaign spending.

Meh. I don’t think most people who voted for Trump give two shits about campaign spending. I'm sure he hid the spending and didn't report it just like his first inauguration scam.

Trump still owes cities hundreds of thousands of dollars from his first campaign.
And he didn't spend any money this campaign because 1. A lot of his campaign funds went to pay his legal bills 2. He's too cheap and would prefer to use Elon's money in PA 3. He controlled the RNC and they didn't share any money with Republicans running for senate. Instead, they depended on wealthy candidates to fund themselves. 4. He had to pay thousands of dollars in fines for using music without the artist's permission 6. Trump didn't open any campaign offices 7. He most likely refused to pay cities again and most likely has outstanding debts again
Trump is not a smart businessman and his spending is not the great accomplishment that you seem to think it is. Personally, I'm happy that Harris paid people instead of funneling money in ads to Fox and Rupert Murdoch. And she didn't have to pay her husband, the Obamas, Clinton, Liz Cheney or any of her surrogates to campaign for her. Unlike the orange moron who paid his wife $240,000.
And no, I don't think anyone looks at campaign spending as an indicator of how they will handle the economy. If they did, Trump's spending or lack of does not inspire confidence.

Hmm, nope. No, I don't think so. Knowing Trump's history, with money and spending, Bankruptcy, his last presidency, etc. And a little bit of knowledge about economics: my "common sense" tells me that Trump is not the better of the 2 for the economy. I do know how much the Republicans want back the use of common sense. So I'm pretty sure that wasn't the reason.
PS:Her staffers were paid so well! Wait, don't the Republicans like Trump because they think they will have more money in their pockets 😬 UH, Oh. Common sense, yo.
LTO, people have taken the time to respond to your other posts. Why don't you go back and respond? Are you just pot-stirring?

All I see when I look at him is a loathsome sociopath who ran to get out of his legal troubles. And amazingly, people bought it. For some reason that most of us will never understand, they like him and think that he will be good for the country. I guess that we will see.

3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 cup cold, strong, brewed coffee
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) grease and flour a 9 inch Bundt pan. Pour boiling water over raisins and let stand 5 minutes. Drain well and dry raisins with a cloth towel.
In large bowl, combine sausage, brown sugar and white sugar. Stir until mixture is well blended. Add eggs and beat well.
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, ginger, baking powder and pumpkin pie spice.
Stir baking soda into coffee.
Add flour mixture and coffee alternately to sausage mixture, beating well after each addition. Fold raisins and walnuts into cake batter.
Pour batter into greased and floured 9 inch Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes, then turn out onto wire rack.
A perfect example that some people will swallow any old shit.

Why do you think that? For the most part, All that money went into our economy - it is not like it was all spent in China. (Or was it? 🤔🥴😆) Income for US businesses.
Fighting dirty politics, politicians, and felons is big business. I’ll happily but some of my money on the line to do that.
It makes you wonder what people who voted for Trump think about what candidates like Kari Lake spent? I bet the amount that her campaign spent between both FAILED runs plus all of her whining and contesting of the results would make people’s eyes roll…
Let’s talk about what all the PACS, people like Elon Musk, the Heritage foundation, etc spent.
A city in my state was never paid by Trump’s people for an election event from the 2016 election. They finally just wrote it off.

I live in a sea of deep red in rural Iowa.
I can tell you that this does somewhat ring true. The last Democrat governor Chet Culver depleted the coffers and was heading to bankrupt the state. People want 'money in the bank'. The governor before him was also a Democrat, and a great friend of Ag, and was generally well regarded, but Culver tanked that feeling - and that is when Iowa went from blue/purple to red. Iowa was one of the first states to legalize gay marriage, and was generally progressive in thought. But after his term - boom. Branstad was reelected (he was governor, did not run after serving 16 years - then ran again after the Culver administration). Branstad was fairly bipartisan, but after his second time around he resigned to be Ambassador to China and Kim Reynolds became governor, and OH my LORD - what she had done to our state. There is so much polarization, she is killing our schools, decimating everything that had made Iowa a good and attractive state. But we got MONEY! We have an 1.38 Billion dollar surplus. People like that.
The Democratic Party (the leaders) in Iowa is f'ed up. They need to pull their heads out of the behinds and really look at what is going on. They will only focus on what is good for the major metro areas, and pretty much consider all the rural areas "dumb" as Gennifer so eloquently put it. As a rule, I don't talk religion or politics with friends, but if we do converse, they want immigrants to take legal channels to get here, but they want them! Most are Pro Life, but if asked - they support abortion for many situations. With the gay/trans issue - they mostly don't care, and are just tired of having it forced in their face... they are of the 'you do you' camp. Most don't love Trump (some are rabid about him, yes)... but many feel that he is the slightly better alternative to Kamala, mostly for economic reasons.

(in general, I mean-- does it have a fruit flavor, a cola-ish flavor, etc.?) Irn Bru is the most popular soft drink in Scotland (fun fact: this is the only country where an indigenous product outsells Coke! 😁) and is often referred to as “our other national drink”. The taste is like nothing else, and it’s difficult to describe. Some people say it tastes like bubble gum (I don’t get that from it), or that it has a slightly metallic taste. It is an elixir! As an aside, their advertising campaigns are highly original and very quirky. There are several compilations of them on YouTube and I would recommend them. Some of them would NOT be shown on American TV! Adverts

Weird, because Trump’s been totally fine using his campaign contributions to pay his legal fees. Apparently, he is also fine with his campaign spending less money because he doesn't pay his damn bills to the cities he did rallies in. To the point where those cities wouldn't even let him hold rallies this year. But I guess that's AOK with ya'll.
