Are you a belt wearer? I do wear a belt if my pants have belt loops. Surveying friends this weekend, less than half owned a belt. ETA Apologies to our British (and maybe Aussie/NZ peas?) for any confusion this questions causes. Please sub in trousers/jeans for pants or whatever item you wear over your pants.

I always wear a belt if I am tucking my top in. If I’m wearing a sweater or something that covers the loops then it just depends if I put my pants away with the belt still on haha. I prefer to tuck my top in so I’m often in a belt. I have about 5 belts I wear regularly.

I haven’t worn a belt in years. I have some, just don’t use them. And yes, some of my pants have belt loops.

I never wear a belt. I just bought a new winter coat, first thing I did was remove the belt it came with.

I want to recommend arcade belts.. lots of colors and patterns.. I own black one.. the narrower style but they stretch, have plastic buckles, so you can wear them through tsa
I have pants with loops--will wear a belt so pants don't fall down.

I almost always wear a belt with jeans. Otherwise I feel like they sag or slide down and it's annoying.

So if I am just at home working for the day and in jeans I won’t typically wear a belt but if I’m going out and want to look more out together I’ll wear a belt. I have two one black and one brown.

I wouldn't if I didn't have to. However, my hips and thighs need a larger pant size than my waist does. Thus, to keep them up or from getting pouchy up front, I have to wear a belt. I hate them!

I put that I sometimes wear a belt if my pants have belt loops, but it was a close call between sometimes and never - I can't remember the last time I wore a belt (I usually wear longer line tops or dresses) but I do know I was wearing jeans and the belt was borrowed from dh. 😳🫣😆

I always wear a belt if I am tucking my top in. This. I think a belt is one of those touches that makes an outfit look styled, and not just clothes being worn.

I put never because it is very rare. Just last weekend, I reorganized some accessories including belts. I'm going to keep an eye out for a black or brown sweater dress that I could wear some of my belts with - most of these were my mothers originally. Otherwise, I'm too long waisted. Belts just create a line that accentuates my legs being a tad too short for my body.

I wear a belt with jeans - sometimes for appearance but often to keep them on my waist. I don’t wear a belt with any other trousers.

I used to wear belts, but I dont any more Of course, I don't tuck anything into my pants/jeans/etc. any more either so it's not like the loops are showing.

I don't ever wear a belt on my pants, it feels unnecessary.

Depends on the outfit.

If I was slim enough to wear pants with a top tucked in, I'd probably wear a belt to finish the outfit off. But I'm not slim enough and my tops cover everything. These days I don't even own pants with belt loops.

I hate most belts because they make me look like I have an outie. No thanks.

Wow, now I feel like a weirdo because I wear belts regularly. I wear belts: -to style my outfit -to keep my pants up because I'm rectangle shaped -to create a waistline--see above.

Nope. Way too heavy for a tucked in top. I’d wear them if I could tuck in.

I have to/need to because I have always had an hourglass figure, with a big gap in the back between my waistband and back.
Although, as I have gotten older, there is quite a bit more sand, but I still have that darn gap. Plus, the added issue is now without a belt my pants end up eventually riding down below my belly, and occasionally I end up being able to take my pants down without ever unbuttoning or unzipping.
I did come across a great trick thanks to a video reel. I take scissors and cut a small slit in my waistband, only the inside fabric, not through both layers of fabric, on each side of the opening.
Then I thread some twill tape (got a 50 yard spool off of Amazon) through the waistband, leaving enough on each end to tie a bow (I do finish each end by turning over and sewing down.)
This internal drawstring has been a game changer. It's so much better than a belt, especially since tops lay better /flatter without a bulky belt.

I wear a belt if I’m tucking in my shirt. Same. Even a French tuck. I love the look of a French tuck. I have done it occasionally with jeans. Still no belt though. I feel I can get away with it when wearing jeans.
