pjaye miss you, girl! I immediately went out and bought that book you recommended way back in March, and even took a photo to share, but then life got in the way. I'm still looking forward to cracking into it sometime soon and think of you every time I see it waiting for me. 😄  |

I remember when she was moving that maybe she was going to meet a pea that was local. I wonder if they have kept contact? It is concerning for her to just stop posting. |

A long time ago there was a thread where peas were friending each other on Goodreads. I have one Goodreads friend who I think might be pjay. If it is, she’s reading and logging books there so I assume she’s fine.

She was always so kind and had good opinions to contribute to the conversations.
I miss Grinning Cat. May she Rest In Peace. I always liked her "tell it like it is" opinion.

Many of us have been on this board for 20+ years. Shocking, right? It is alarming when one stops posting bc we may never know what happened to them. I have always been thankful for this board and the things I’ve learned from the different lands we live in.

Some people just gradually quit posting and check in occasionally but lexica was a pretty regular poster and she just left abruptly. That's what worries me. 😟

That was Allipeas (I think that's how she spelled it) and she stopped posting after Hamas invaded Israel. Which is when Elaine stopped posting too, I think. Too many difficult posts for either of them to read, since Elaine has family in Israel and Allipeas has family in Gaza.  |
