We were all set to watch fireworks with family friends at a big local event. As I was moving a chair, I tripped and fell head first onto a curb. DH and paramedics said I should go to the ER. I was my own little 4th of July parade as they wheeled me out on a stretcher. CT scan came back fine, just scraped and bruised, but I missed all the fun.  |

What a bummer but I'm glad you got checked out and you're OK. I'm sure you need to rest with a good book/TV show and have family take care of any chores.  |

It's better to err on the side of caution. People are taking head injuries much more seriously now. Glad you're OK.

Hitting myself against concrete too would justify an ambulance ride! I am sorry it happened to you, though. I hope you feel better today and don't have a headache.
