Pampered Chef food chopper for onions, especially Tupperware gravy maker--a game changer from lumpy to smooth gravies and sauces My gravy shaker lost its flip lid, but I still use it as a measuring cup because it has the markers on it. That thing must be 20 years old and the measurements are as clear as they were when new. For mixing, I now use a blender bottle with the wire whisk ball inside it. a.co/d/bvMO5ymI LOVE this brush set! The one with the little blue tip is the best thing ever for cleaning creatives that brushes don’t really reach. My daughters who have flown the coop are getting them in their stockings. a.co/d/4ZLjcp3

I Like to make cupcakes but getting the batter from the bowl to the pan was a messy job. Found this batter dispenser on Amazon and it’s so much easier now. linkI use this all the time for pancakes and waffles now. It's so much easier. I think I got mine at the dollar store.

Thanks to the responses I now own a Danish Dough Whisk and a batter pourer, both of which will get a lot of use. This salt/pepper mill lives by my hob and is in daily use. I love that I can use it with either hand and can turn it over to use the other condiment. It's so quick and easy to use.

One of my favorite small household items is this Dreamfarm Ortwo Grinder Mill. I love the size and look of it, plus that the jars are glass and can be stored separately, but also that I can use the grinder one-handed if I need to. 😊

I love my ikea handheld frother! I use it everyday to froth my creamer before adding coffee to it. I don’t like a lot of froth and this works better for me than the frother machine. Same. Love the frother!

What SMALL household items do you use on a regular basis that others maybe don’t and might find useful? Links would be good, this is the season of enabling! I use these toast tongs nearly every day. The magnet on the top keeps them out of the way, attached to the toaster yet always to hand. I cannot stand crumbs on tables and counter tops. By no stretch of the imagination am I Little Miss Clean and Tidy but crumbs irk me so I use this Table dustpan and brush. My grandmother used to use one and I thought they were old fashioned and twee but it’s much more useful than a cloth or gathering crumbs up in the hand. So what small item do you use that I might find useful? That dustpan is a good idea.

OMG. I have an old very old flat whisk like that. I think that it was my great grandmother’s. I didn’t know that it had a name though.

TrivetI love this Joseph Joseph pot stand which is incredibly handy, and sturdy. I keep it in the cutlery drawer (it’s the same size as the teaspoons) so it’s one less thing cluttering up the worktop. I think I need these!

What a fun thread! Some of my favourite gadgets: Tupperware veggie chopper I use this all the time for chopping onions. Mango slicer I bought this as a stocking stuffer for my one one year, when he discovered that he loves mangoes. I need to work out if I can sharpen the blades, because I used it last week, and it didn't cut through the mango. Cherry pipper This was another stocking stuffer for my son from years ago. It's cherry season here now, so it's been getting a good workout. 4 size jar opener makes opening jars so much easier than trying to use bare hands Citrus squeezer / juicer. My mum bought me this, and I didn't think I'd use it much because I already have a couple of different juicers. But I tend to use this one most of the time now, unless the citrus fruit is too big to fit. Pinch Bowls that I use when I'm cooking something with lots of ingredients, that I put spices or herbs, or garlic / onion / chillies in, ready for when they need to be added to the pan. Mine are similar to the ones in the link. I think I bought mine in a $2 shop. Cleaning brushes for straws which are perfect for when DS doesn't rinse out the cup or straw straight after making himself a smoothie. Melon Baller I love this little gadget, I've had one similar to the one in the link for decades, and use it to make melon ball salad. 2-in-1 garlic crusher and slicer - I recently treated myself to this. DSO couldn't understand why I bought it (then again, he says that about most of my gadgets!) but I have used it heaps. Kitchen Blow Torch - I really only use this when I make creme brûlée, which to be honest isn't very often, but I wouldn't be without it. Digital Spoon Scales similar to the ones in the link (but a different brand). These are good for weighing very small quantities of things such as yeast, that might be too light to be weighed on normal kitchen scales. Spice Grinder My BIL bought me this for Christmas one year, and it's great for making my own ground spice and spice mixes - so much easier than a mortar and pestle! 4 Piece Egg Slicer When my old egg slicer broke, I bought this 4 piece one. I use it when I'm making Devilled Eggs, or slicing eggs for potato salad and other salads. Bread Slicer - I have had this for years, since I bought my first bread maker decades ago. It has now been replaced by this knife that my brother got for me: Bread knife with guide. It's better because I can adjust the width of the slices. I have two of those Tupperware shakers that someone else posted, but both of them are missing the little closure that is on the lid. If I want to use it, I have to stick my thumb in the hole so the liquid doesn't come out! Wow. I didn't realise that I was such a Gadget Girl. I'm sure there are others that I am forgetting about.

I’m going to have to look for a digital spoon scale AussieMeg! I should have asked Santa for a blow torch. Every now and then I think I’d use one.

I’d forgotten about the kitchen blow torch! I think ex-DH must have kept it for himself. He always referred to it as the flame thrower. 😄
