jeremysgirl I considered painting but I can never decide on colors so I went super neutral when we did paint a few years ago. It’s just the two of us so it’s still in great shape. My new office/ sitting room needs repainted , the post tornado repair didn’t match well, but doubt make a decision and get it painted right now. Once things are on the wall no one can tell but me. In all honesty, that will likely happen when we decide to move.

I've skimmed the thread and probably won't touch everyone. It was a day. Quiet, but still a lot to do in the office. Let me get this out of the way. DH is having pork carnitas with slaw. I'm having roasted sweet potatoes with hummus as the base burritos. I made an avocado crema and have some shredded cabbage to add some crunch. jeremysgirl, another conehead. And another day I am happy to have dogs that don't have to go to a groomer. Oh, and I'll be 61 this year and have to keep reminding myself of that. I keep thinking to act right. And then I throw that right out and act how I want. Like cadoodlebug, I'll most likely never act my age or grow up. I hope i remember this correctly, Tearisci I'm glad to hear your mom is feeling better. Now, I need to get back to the carnitas. I turned around to a noise a few minutes ago and my Catahoula Husky was reared up on the stove trying to get to that pan. What in the world?!? He has never done this before. |

Jeremy's second daughter is a freshman in college and she wants to come stay with us this summer when she's home from college. I am going to prepare Esther's room for her. And of course, I'll be repainting. I think that's wonderful!  leannec did you end up with a date last night? No, he's got some kind of bug still ... no biggie ... I am really fine with it ... he's one of those dudes who pops in and out from time to time which is all good until I meet someone more permanent  Got some good news, my mom is coming home from the hospital! She's feeling much better, thankfully! Yay! Happy birthday Darcy Collins!  |

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Been running around like a crazy person! Only have one more week before my son goes back to school and he's trying to squeeze a lot in! Going out tonight, not sure what my husband has planned. I'm already ready for the weekend! Take care all!!
