I also heard that Fox “swept” the ratings. Duh. Because only people who watch Fox News wanted to watch the inauguration.

I know you love Trump and are so sure he's going to do amazing things for our whole country, but I have some questions for you. 
1. You have hammered at us repeatedly since Trump won that he is only going to deport the criminals. You've also said that you are okay with immigration if it is done legally. So what are your thoughts now that he has just shut down avenues of becoming a legal immigrant in his first few hours in office? Are you okay with people who had hearings set up to plead for asylum had their hearings, that they had been waiting months for, cancelled? 
2. You have repeatedly said that while you don't know how he's going to do it, but you are sure he will lower prices. How do you feel about him writing an executive order on his very first day that cancels protections Biden put in place to lower prescription drug prices for those on medicare and medicaid? Do you think this is okay? If so, why? To me, that is a big f* you to average Americans, who you think will have better lives because of Trump. I would love someone to explain this to me. 
3. Are you okay with him giving himself permission to give security clearances to anyone with no vetting?? You've said you think our country will be safer under him. How will this particular thing make us safer? 

I could go on, but I will stop with these as they are my biggest concerns right now..

Did they come here legally in the first place?  If not, then no. I don't think the intent is to deport anyone who has come here using the proper channels.  Trump and Homan want the criminals out first. And that's what they are doing.

My guess is that he has a better/different plan in mind and is going to be implementing it when it's done.

biden let millions over the border with no vetting.

Security clearance is for people working in the government who have access to privileged information. You are fine having people with no vetting no background checks having access to that information?

The way you go on our population must be pushing 1 billion people because Biden was letting 20,000,000 undocumented, criminals, etc. over the border on a daily basis.

The point the OP was trying to make is that the right is, once again, full of hypocrites who criticize democratic women of spending too much on their clothing yet don’t do the same with “their” candidates.

Personally, I think Melania looked more like the hamburglar than a nazi. However, both are fitting for her husband’s interests.

As someone who is 18 months away from Medicare, I will admit that I am very concerned about what this administration will do.

Thirty two year cancer survivor here (with a recurrence a year ago). Not to mention I have 6 meds that I take daily, along with a couple more that I take as needed.

If turning 65 also sends me down a pauper's lane (after years of living under my means and saving and investing) simply because of my age, my country (and all the taxes I've paid over the years) will have let me down.

I'm on retiree Medicare and I have not had a problem.  In fact my husband's $22K gallbladder surgery was paid in full with no copay for us in 2024.  I was expecting to pay some kind of copay but we ended up paying nothing. 

That is wonderful for you both, right now.

Interestingly, I had my gall bladder removed 13 months ago in mid-December 23 with an (unrelated to the gall bladder) cancer surgery two days later. Private insurance, and my coverage was also good.

It will be curious how Medicare susses out a year, two, or three from now. As I previously stated, I expect Medicare coverage when I become eligible in 18 months will not look much like it does now and those of us who are over age 65 and retired will be screwed. Guess we'll find out in time.

Hopefully you and your husband be just as happy with your Medicare coverage then.

Trump hasn't started making cuts yet. Medicaid is on the line. And he cut the cap on medications.
