Do you have a favorite season or month? Why do you enjoy it so much?

I like spring very much, the longer days, the first flowers coming up but our Spring is very short and often rainy. So I am choosing fall because of the temperate weather which often lasts through November.

Spring is probably my most favorite followed by Fall. I like the transitional seasons before it gets too hot or too cold. I'm usually ready for them after a hot summer and cold winter.

My favorite month has always been December. The glowing lights of the Christmas tree and outdoor lights just make my soul happy. The music, the food, the excitement. It just brings me happiness.
My favorite season is fall. It was summer when I was a kid because I spent it in the pool and beach and camping and on trips.
But now I love fall. The colors, the cooling weather, the holidays, decorations, football.

For sure it is spring, it is most definitely my favorite time of year. All the new growth, the green, the flowers, the hope, just everything about it. We have a nice long spring in Seattle, with leaves and flowers popping out in late February/early March. Even now, in January, we have some plants getting ready to bloom soon: camellias and hellebores to name a couple. Our spring lasts all the way until until July 5th most years. Also, I love that summer follows spring (our summers are generally lovely with only a few weeks of hot hot temps), so I also have something to look forward to while enjoying my looonnngggg spring. Did I mention that I LOVE SPRING?!?

October. The start of fall here in SC. We’re usually still pretty warm here for most of the month, but I love those first chilly mornings and evenings that signal the humid, hot weather is behind us for a bit.

I like fall. The days are still warm, but it cools down once the sun sets. Spring is sort of short here, or is has been too short lately. Cold one day and hot the next.

I love May 😊 It holds the promise of summer to come - even if the reality in England can be very unpredictable! I look forward to seeing the first wild poppies on the roadside 😊

It has to be summer. This old body needs the warmth and I love the nights where it's light for nearly 24 hours.

Spring. Not too hot. Not too cold. You can open your windows and get fresh air. No AC running, No heater. Lower utility bills!

Summer and it's not even close. If I had to rank the rest, I suppose it would be:
1. SUMMER 2. Spring, because it leads to summer 3. Fall, because part of it still feels like summer
1,348,562. Winter. Yuck.

Spring. We have long springs in Connecticut; I love the slow greening of the grass and the trees and the understory. I love hearing the red wing blackbirds back from the south. I love the daffodils and the warm sun. May and June are glorious in CT.

Fall/October
Cooler weather.. LOVE my hoodies.. pretty.. love being outdoors when it is just a bit crisp in the air. LOVE it.
Spring in Colorado is short and usually snows part of it.. no flowers or if they do pop out of the ground, fat chance they will last more than a few days until a freeze gets them. So while I love springtime, it is gone in a blink of an eye.

Fall is my favorite because it's always SO welcome after the hot summers we have here in the DC area. And I like cozy sweaters and hoodies and blankets and hot tea and walking through crunchy leaves and the trees changing colors....

Fall is pretty and still feels like summer for most of it without the high temps some states get.

Spring and Fall. I love in the spring how it is warming up but still a little cool. I love the freshness spring seems to bring. In fall, I love how it's starting to cool off but still a little warm. The coziness that fall brings with the start of the holidays coming up.

If I still lived in a place with four seasons, fall is my favorite. Especially October. I love that crisp feeling in the air, the colors of the leaves, and the beginning of cozy season.
We don't get that here in Houston. Here, February and March tend to be my favorite. Real spring weather, varies from cool enough to need a jacket to warm enough to wear sandals, but not hot. Tends to be sunny. The flowers here begin to bloom - the wildflowers in Texas are especially beautiful.

Fall has always been my favorite time of the year. Kids go back to school. It’s cooler. The changing outdoors - fall color combos are my favorite! Football season! It’s also the start of the holiday season. Need I say more?

I love the summer. My favorite. When my kids were little I loved them being home. Hated the start of school, probably more then they did. I love the warm, even hit weather.

Late April through May is my favorite time of year. I put out flowers. It's usually consistently warm. I think it will be particularly welcome this year.

Summer is my favourite season, I love daylight savings, I love the heat and everything that goes along with that. January is my favourite month because it’s the middle of summer, all the schools are closed for the Christmas/summer holidays, so I don’t have to dodge school traffic, it’s a bit quieter at work (at least for the first couple of weeks), and I spend a lot of time at the beach or river or pool. I wish it could be January forever! ETA: Ditto what sunnyd said! (Except January instead of July.)

When I lived in SoCal it was winter, because really that was the only time it wasn't hot. Now that I'm in the PNW, it's likely fall. I've only had two of them since moving here, but fall is lovely. I also really love December and all the holiday festivities.
