Well that would also mean Obama could run again although I think Michele had enough of the stress.

I keep seeing that type of comment (that it will never happen) with this proposal, and the birthright EO, but, then I think, there are no real checks and balances anymore, so honestly... who would stop him? People keep saying it is a distraction bc we will focus on that stuff instead of what he REALLY wants to do.

Yesterday I really spiralled and was so completely disgusted, I honestly worry for my mental health. Hoping he gets bored of all his shock and awe games, and slithers off to play golf.

I am sure the FOTUS told him to do it.

The guard rails are gone. But ...... If he keeps going, arresting citizens with ICE.. Some 'reds' will start rebelling. Unfortunately they have the guns!

From the other side of the world all I can say is God bless America.

What a hell of a ride is just beginning but unfortunately it will have repercussions world wide.

Do not let him steal your joy. Do what you can to protect your peace. Stay off the news. Spend a specific amount of time going to one reliable source to keep you updated on the important news events. And don't look at the next 4 years. That's too overwhelming. Take it one day at a time.

They thought of that. The third term would only be for those whose previous terms were non-consecutive.

If the Supreme Court rules against birthright citizenship, then they will just argue the amendment limiting to 2 terms also meant consecutive. This action, while mostly performative, gets people to start thinking that, “It’s not unreasonable.”

So fight early, fight often.

This is good advice. I am consuming less news than before, although I do read the papers daily. I cut back on tv, because it is too much trump for me. I can read about the news, but I do not need to see and hear so much of him.

I am getting dizzy from shaking my head so much.
