Just a suggestion from someone who has about 60 Copics ~ one Copic marker will not wow you or make you understand the hype. On its own itās a plain old marker that is going to badly bleed through normal paper.
The point of alcohol markers is that they are easier to blend multiple colors together so to get a real feel for them you should try three minimum that blend well. And not all colors blend well together. Look online for colors to use together; see examples of how they blend and decide if thatās the color youāre looking for. Even their big sets are not set up well; they are a variety of colors but you still need to buy multiples in addition to make blending smoother.

I ordered mine a week ago!
I have bought well over a hundred of these. I have never had one of my own! LOL One kid went to design school, so Copic's were an investment. He had some before he went to college, but the big collection started then. Great thing is you can use them forever! They are refillable and there is nothing that beats the quality of them for design work.

I saw on Reddit that people are getting shipping notices. Someone ordered on Jan 10th and their marker will arrive next week. So, I am still probably two weeks out from shipping. But, they are coming.

Depends what you want to do with it, but I like BG18 for a stronger more intense version of BG72 Ice Ocean. BG75 is technically the 'official' darker tone in the same colour family (BG7's) but it's quite washed out, just like BG72. BG70 is almost invisible - it's a blending marker IMO, good for brushloading or tinting whites only. If you want to go more grey-blue/blue-purple and a touch darker, try pairing with B34 + BV04. |
